I'm one of the developers for this game; I produced the game, put together the overall design vision, and programmed the bullet patterns. This project was an incredible learning experience, and I'm thankful to my team for making it such a fun and fulfilling time. It was my very first game project, and very much a passion project. Things that went well: - For a six-week project between three freshman-level developers, I'm proud of how much we squeezed into the game. - The game is extremely short, but is a complete experience. The player can win and lose, and there is a progression in difficulty (if imperfect). - From a mechanical point of view, the colors used for bullets vs. backgrounds provide good contrast and make it easy to read the battlefield. - I think the bullet patterns are pretty cool, but I may be biased. :) Things that could have been improved: - Accessibility. This game can be a good time for those who are already into bullet hell games, but it is pretty unforgiving/confusing to those less experienced with the genre. - Player feedback. Lots of players have reported being confused about whether they were damaging the boss, and the player's primary weapon could feel more satisfying to use. - Visual cohesion. The art is of good quality, but I could have done a better job designing prompts that supported a central style/theme. - Game identity. This game was derived in large part from the Touhou series, and it shows. In the future, I look forward to creating games around more original ideas. Overall, this game has plenty of faults, but I'm proud of what my team accomplished. It is by no means a masterpiece, but it is a good first foray into game development. I hope that it brings enjoyment to somebody, somewhere!

I'd recommend this game, if you are good and familiar with bullet hell you'll find a good challenging game, if you are not you can also play this game because there is continues which allows you to keep fighting. That way you can improve and aim towards using no continues to get the true ending. The smooth music fits really well, the controls are responsive and regarding visuals it's really well made even with all that's going on the screen you are not overwhelmed by colors and objects, you can see clearly where you are. There are two difficulties, one which should be reachable for the majority and for those who seek more challenge. The only drawback would be the fact there is only one boss (with twelve differents patterns which really differ and makes sense) but considering that it is a student project made in a given time it is understandable. Overall it was a good experience and a good student project, might be a good way to introduce new players to this genre.
Free bullet hell gallery shooter. Different interesting patterns like a bullet hell training game. Accurate controls. Simple, colorful graphics and nice soundtrack. Listed on the Shoot 'em up Database
Nice little Touhou style game. I would even recommend this as one of the first Touhou games someone interested in the games/style to try. Not too difficult to get past the Normal difficulty without 'continues' after some attempts. Offers a nice challenge with Legendary difficulty (which I'm pretty bad at so I haven't beaten it yet). -Free Game Amasser
Ateş potasından kaçın! Crucible, 2 boyutlu, yüksek aksiyonlu, yukarıdan aşağıya bir nişancı oyunudur. Bunu yapan programcı kör oldu.
Really fun and challenging bullet hell, but painfully short. Everything about this game is done good-great. The biggest problem is that there is just one boss. All the patterns with the obstacles and enemies projectiles are unique and don't just feel like blips all over the screen they feel like a great test of your ability to control your movement and also balance taking out the enemy at the same time. the color choices are great because the background really makes the obstacles stand out without any eye strain. The hit box feels great and it feels more like you worry about where you land where you stop moving than whether or not you move into an obstacle and i love that about it. while the game is very difficult and challenging, and also very easy because you can just keep continuing with the only penalty really being that you lose your score. so its easy to beat it, but way too difficult to do great at. and then theres only one enemy.which is the biggest downside. if when you finished the game that would only be stage 1 of 5 then this would be a game that i would pay 5 dollars for. if when you finished the game that was only stage 1 of ten then i would happily spend ten dollars on this game (or more like wait for it to go on sale for 20 % off.) but there's only one enemy/boss and then the game is over.
My play through here:
https://youtu.be/TcTdgi5cXiE
Review
I really liked the music a real piano bop and the game itself it's challenging and I'm glad the game gives you a reason to play through with no continues. Normal mode is definitely manageable, but it's still challenging enough it's pretty rewarding when you beat it on normal with no continues. Legendary is beyond my skill level, but normal is pretty user friendly and if you really struggle you can use continues to make the game beatable by everyone you only get the best ending with no continues though. Definitely recommend a solid free to play that lets you practice/test your bullet hell skills
Before I played Crucible, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
