Lost in translation

[th]⭐Juego gratuito⭐[/th]

Nota: 4/10

🎮🌵Más reseñas en mi mentor🌵🎮

The game froze when i talk with the Kombucha guy! I can't progress...
You can annoy the hipster and racially profile people
I like the idea but I got fired bc I told my friend I didn't wanna go to a party but focus on work???
I love the idea of a game based around code-switching, but I wish it wasn't the entirety of the game itself and was just a mechanic in a larger game (fingers crossed they expand on this in the future). Plus you can pet the bodega cat. 5/10
Edit: So it *does* work, you just need to change system locale to US English. Duh. (otherwise it freezes on day 1 and you have no way of playing further). As for the game itself, it's fine. You chat three times with a few people, don't get much out of it, and either keep your job or not. The played character is a teenager who never engaged with his community before so it's a bit akward at times. The construction worker repeats like ten times he knows absolutely no Spanish, and I believe him, but then why can he understand perfectly every Spanish monologue we throw at him? Also there's evidently a missing scene of the hipster treating us like a learning opportunity that everyone references but we are never shown. Pretty big incoherences for a game centered around human connections. And as someone else pointed out, it's a little mean to treat AAVE as unprofessional in a game like this. That being said, it was short, it was okay, I expected more somehow but it didn't promise enough to be disappointing (except the lack of skip function).
Its good but its too buggy to play
Very short but charming story with a cat you can pet
