Cricket Legends is a port from a mobile game. It is a fun game to play though they really do need a pause button instead of needing to get the mouse to do it, some of the sixes animation appear to have the ball fall before the boundary line. Some of the fast bowlers are way too fast, barely any time to react to them, the run chases can be really difficult like chasing 200 in ten overs. As said it is fun but it does need some improvements made.
As a 40-year-old former Quake and CS player, I’ve grown tired of the constant blood and gore in today’s games. Life’s busy now, and spending 4+ hours a day on immersive gaming just isn’t an option anymore. That’s when I stumbled across Cricket Legends—an absolute gem of an indie game. Back in the day, I was a huge fan of Cricket 07, but with no support for it anymore, it’s been hard finding something that captures that magic. Cricket Legends fills that void perfectly. The controls are smooth, the ball striking is spot-on, and the gameplay feels incredibly nostalgic. It’s the ideal pick for anyone looking to relive old cricketing memories without investing hours upon hours. If you grew up loving cricket games, this one’s a must-try. It’s a quick, fun trip down memory lane that reminds us why we fell in love with the sport and the games around it in the first place.

Cricket Legends brings some unique elements to the table. The precise stroke control is simply fantastic—it adds a depth to batting that other games can’t match. The AI bowling is creative and keeps you on edge, even if it’s a little glitchy sometimes. The Bhojpuri commentary is a standout feature, injecting so much fun into the matches. That said, the graphics are a letdown, and the game could really use Steam achievements to make it even more rewarding. Despite these flaws, it’s a great game for cricket fans.
Whether you’re a cricket fan or just someone looking for a refreshing break from the usual gaming grind, Cricket Legends is a fantastic choice. It’s a wonderful reminder of why cricket holds such a special place in so many hearts.
