Get lost in a deliciously dark horror anthology. Inspired by Shudder’s Creepshow series, this point-and-click adventure has gone all kinds of wrong.

About

In the mood for a story? The Creep has picked these out just for you...
Creepshow is a collection of twisted, self-contained tales where the humor is dark, and the endings are… not what you expected. Each story drops you into a nightmare with new characters, new horrors, and a fate that you won’t see coming.

Follow Danny and his friends as a bad day at the mall turns into something much, much worse.
Their search for the truth of what happened to Danny’s father turns dark as they uncover sinister secrets.
Fate brings Danny to The Reader, a mysterious fortune-teller, who has a taste for treacherous tales.
Expect pulp-inspired visuals, a tone that plays up the camp without losing its wit, and endings that hit hard. The horror here isn't just trying to scare you... It's about enjoying the whole thing a little too much.

All the thrills and chills you expect from Shudder's Creepshow
Play through one overarching narrative, with two additional self-contained stories
Stylized comic-book environments with horror mini-games throughout each story

I grew up on Creepshow so I was excited to get to play this! I enjoyed the game a lot, but I also didn't go in with huge expectations. I think it can be challenging to really connect with the love of the original, especially through a game. I enjoyed the game though, and I do hope they come out with more tales!
Kinda pains me giving this a thumbs down but this one felt like a letdown as a fan of the Creepshow property. Big fan of the movies (except 3 but we don't talk about that) and enjoy the comics and TV show enough so I went with some lofty expectations The game pretty much plays like a point n' click / adventure but feels very. . . bland? It felt like there was very little to explore and the only thing to find were a scatter of notes here and there. There's also a couple of mini-games and puzzles thrown in as well. So it more like "go here, go there, play this mini-game, go here, solve this puzzle" It just leaves a lot be desired. After doing that for a bit, you've hit the conclusion to the story. If I'm being honest, neither really felt all that scary and mostly made me go "huh, is that it?" I did dig the vibes and think the devs did capture some of the essence of the series. I think it just stings more with the Creepshow named attached since I was expecting more meat on the bones. As it stands, it's kind of hard to recommend even to diehard fans.

just started the game. So far so good. Seems like an easy P&C game
Not quite what I hoped, but I still like it a little I was pretty excited when I bought Creepshow. The idea of a Creepshow-style horror anthology sounded great. After playing it, it wasn’t as fun as I thought it would be. The experience didn’t fully live up to the excitement I had going in. That said, I still like it a little bit. It’s not a game I’ll rave about, but I don’t regret picking it up either. If you’re a big fan of the Creepshow vibe and don’t mind a slower point-and-click style, you might enjoy it more than I did.
A játék részemről oké kategória.
As someone who has a hyperfixation on Creepshow and anything and everything anthology horror- this game seemed like a win for me. Yes I had fun (but only about 2 hours of it) and it left me wanting more. Decisions are linear, nothing much else to explore or do, no multiple endings, second story was dry and rushed while the first seemed to drag on forever. I get that mundane and repetative tasts are designed to keep us somewhat engaged enough to want to see the story progress- but the progression isn't worth it. The art style we know and love was there- but this game seems rushed and half finished. I found myself cycling between excitement and complete boredom. Was expecting three stories, or maybe multiple choices that effect anything in the game- fun things to find or collect - mini games..really anything but was left wanting. Because I feel like I'm the target audience for a game like this - some of it worked on me but mostly I just have an itch that is still unscratched, Applaud the effort as games in the genre are hard enough to find. If you are a horror fan or a creepshow fan - it's worth a shot. 5/10
I wanna start off by saying I was looking forward to this game. It looked fun and interesting to be able to play through creeping tales. But when I sat down and played it, I had my hopes shatter. The first Tale/Chapter is really good, it sets the tone and mood for what may to come after. Well the second half of the game is not great. It loses the tone and before you know it ends abruptly. Unless the developers add more chapters/tales, the price is alittle too high for me to recommend. Even though I received for free, which I am 100% grateful, it's a hard recommend even for those that are fans of the tv series.
Woof. This was just overall not good. Pros: -When the textures and everything would load, the art style is wonderful. -I really loved the music here. There's a nice, creepy atmosphere. -The first story felt VERY Creepshow. Cons: -Your character, in every situation, never gets hurt or takes damage, so you realize FAST how monotonous and tedious this game is, and how low the stakes are. -This game is so buggy. Tons of times I'd use the action button and nothing would happen. I'd have to leave the area, come back, and maybe it'd work. Sometime's I'd just have to reload. A few times textures didn't load. -There's no manual save so it's a crapshoot as to how far back reloading takes you. -Everything in this game feels REALLY clunky. -There's a section in the second story that doesn't restrict you from wandering, and you will wander for 7-10 minutes, only to discover a dead end and have to wander it all the way back. -There's a puzzle in story 2 that I couldn't for the life of me figure out. Went online to look it up, no one else talked about it or solved it that I found (the shed in the graveyard). Come to think of it, there were two puzzles in the second story I straight up never solved (never found the third coin). I may need to get güd, but it was just stupid hard and when I realized I could just move on, I gave up. The puzzles were absolutely useless. -When you finish this, it feels like they made 1/4 of a game. Like, this feels like a demo. I played slowly and spent 3.1 hours on it, but there was SO MUCH they could've done and they left open with the story. -I would pick up so many items and realize they don't do anything. I'd try to find uses for them and they were just there, able to grab, never able to use. I'm so confused by it. I finished it and I was disappointed. The more I sit with it in my mind, the more I am actively frustrated that I played this and not something else.
A very enjoyable game if you're a fan of the shudder series, albeit quite short as you can 100% it in about 4 hours. Feels like playing an episode of the series.
