"Meh." That's the impression Cranky Cat left me with. It is easy to get into, it is not complicated and a level does not take too long. It fits the description "Casual Game". But that's all. There is nothing special about this game. I wish there was. It feels that the main focus in development were touch devices, the controls seem optimized for it; The gameplay just feels clunky with the mouse. The music in the menu is somewhat amusing but the ingame music sounds like you enprisoned a drunken big band and told them to just make noises. It actually sounds like several tracks overlapping and gets really annoying, really fast. I would maybe recommend the game for a really simple casual experience, if the gameplay intruiges you because of the amount of levels that will supply you with a few hours of fun - but the ingame music is so bad and the controls feel clunky...
I personally really like puzzle games. Including ones like Bejweled, Jewel Quest, Zuma, BubblePop, ect... If you like Puzzle games like those, you'll probably like this one too. There isn't really a story, the animations are simple but cute, and the music is fitting to that of a puzzle game. This isn't a game of epic proportion. It's a basic, fun to play, time-eater, with bright colors and a fun theme. If you still aren't sure about this game, or any game, the best advice is to look on youtube for some gameplay videos. Check to see if it's something you'd enjoy if the game doesn't have a demo =D
That was about a dollar's worth of entertainment, which iirc is what I paid for it. I'm pretty sure people who like puzzle games more than I do would enjoy this.
It's alright for a bubble shooter, but I feel it's almost overly complicated. While the game mechanic itself is easy, it's also a little clunky (which I guess kind of suits for a steampunk type game?). All in all not as fun as I thought it would be, and I'm glad I didn't waste much on it. The graphics are ok, but the game itself ... eh -shrug-
15 years later, this is still the first game i purchased on steam. good job.
BEST EU!! Kappa
Grade: 50/100 Difficulty: Easy. Pros: It is a game you can play to waste time if you're bored. Cons: The music is irritating, along with the display. The gameplay itself is a no-brainer. Replayable: No. I would not have gotten this for myself in the first place -- it was gifted to me as a joke. And that's exactly what this game is.
This game is seriously a lot better than I thought it'd be. Additional Information: This game is one of those ball breaking puzzle games. It's sorta like a mix of Zuma and Bust a Move. It's the type of game that you could put your mom on and not see her for hours. NOMINATED FOR VILLIAN THAT MOST NEEDS A HUG (Because he's a cute fluffy kitty!)
Interesting game I never played before. Some of the levels does require you to use the mouse and keyboard at the sametime for faster turning, sometimes the music may glitch out and play when you have it muted, and the way the bubbles are placed may not be what you expected, but can get addicting, especially the Hot Potato and Survival modes (although the difficulty does increase rather quick for those two). The game's story is okay, the pictures are humerous on their own, but it's there to have some context for the game nothing else. The music is okay, but can get rather annoying when it's constant fading, silence, then a new track. Reminds me a lot of Dumbo circus music in a way for some... ----- Check out more games I see that deserve more attention from my curator group: BluePaw's Underrated Games List Join and/or follow if you wish.
