Couch Monsters

Couch Monsters is a really fun and charming Couch Co-Op game, in wich you solve puzzles by making use of your brain and reflexes. The presentation and animation is very humorous, making it rewarding to progress through the levels. For me it is just the right amount of challenge in the puzzles. I had a great time playing it and highly recommend it to everyone who enjoys puzzles, co-op games and a good time playing games together.

Una maravilla este prometedor juego de dos monstruos muy carismáticos con un portal en su estomago que evocan varias mecánicas que harán que cada nivel sea diferente. Animado y dibujado totalmente a mano, hace que todo cobre vida de una manera especial y con una encantadora banda sonora que ameniza la resolución de los puzzles, siendo un tema diferente en cada nivel nunca te cansa y siempre sorprende. Nivel de dificultad equilibrado que te hace pensar y evita que te desesperes, hará la delicia de los amantes de los puzzles, haciendo discurrir mil y una maneras de superarlos siendo muy satisfactorio completarlo. Todo esto y la diversión que da el jugar cooperativo junto con la facilidad de realizarlo con remote play together hacen un titulo muy recomendable. ¡Nosotros nos lo hemos pasado genial completando el juego!

Grab your buddy of choice and experience this awesome platformer with very cute graphics, an amazing soundtrack and mindbending puzzles! I was surprised at the level of complexity the game can reach and how much fun it was to solve each level. The game doesnt require a beefy computer and you can even play over Steam Remote Play!

Masterpiece. I got the same feels I got while playing Portal 2 coop, its really a fun and tricky ride :)

I don't normally leave reviews for games that I play, but this Indie game deserves a shout-out! On first sight, Couch Monsters looks just like another fun arcade game, but it is much more. I love playing split-screen games with my partner on the TV, especially since the lockdown started. I have never seen a game that is so much dependent on teamwork and actually debating about what to do next! System requirements are very low as well. Connected my 2018 MacBook Pro running Boot Camp to the TV and had no issues in 4K resolution. Absolutely recommended!

Deutsch/English German/English Video Links at the End German: Starkes Game sowohl Solo aber vor allem im Koop Modus!   Ziel des Spieles einfach erklärt 2 niedliche Monster wollen auf die bequeme Couch oder Sessel denn entweder muss man beide an denselben Ort verfrachten oder zu zwei unterschiedlichen.Um das zu schaffen könnt Ihr springen, fressen und die Physik zu eurem Gunsten verwenden.  Couch Monsters ist zwar deutlich auf Koop ausgelegt aber auch solo spielbar. Im Koop steuer jeweils ein Spieler ein Monster. Falls ihr mal denkt ihr schafft eine Stelle nicht könnt ihr einfach die plätze per Knopfdruck tauschen oder euch ein Tipp geben lassen im Menü. Solo wird das Spiel deutlich schwieriger mit einem Controller steuert Ihr jeweils mit dem Linken Stick und Rechten Stick die Monster und lasst sie mit den Schultertasten fressen und Springen. Die Grafik und Sound sind meines erachtens Spitze. Die Level sind gut designed die Charaktere super animiert und mega putzig. Der Soundtrack begleitet einen gut durch das Spiel und ist weder aufdringlich noch nervend.  Es hat super viel Spaß gemacht sich durch das Spiel zu Rätseln und kann es jedem Empfehlen.  Auch für Speedruns ist das Spiel super geeignet sowohl als anfänger oder als jemand der schon länger Speedruns macht auch hier im Koop und im Singleplayer alles machbar. Goal of the game explained simply two cute monsters want to sit on the comfortable couch or armchair because either you have to move both to the same place or to two different ones. To do that you can jump, eat and use the physics in your favor. Couch Monsters is clearly designed for co-op but can also be played solo. In the Coop Mode, one player controls a monster at a time. If you think you can't manage a job, you can simply swap places at the push of a button or get a tip in the menu. Solo the game is much more difficult. With a Gamepad you control the monsters with the left  and right stick and let them eat and jump with the shoulder buttons. In my opinion the Graphics and Sound are great. Levels are designed well and the Characters are cute and good animated. The Soundtrack is nicely chosen and accompanies you through the Game perfectly.  The game is also great for speed runs, both as a beginner or as someone who has been doing speed runs for a long time. Great game! Recommended!

A highly recommended coop puzzler! Easy enough to get anyone started, complex enough to be satisfying for experienced gamers. Great level design and learning curve. Even when your solution attempts don't quite work out, the monsters are always good for some laughs when things go wrong... :)

It's like Portal but you are the portals and the portals are also cute monsters!

If you like puzzle games like portal you will love this game.
