short and sweet metroidvania
I played thru this game, and its predecessor in one afternoon. I played thru both on my Steam deck without are technical issues. Both are wonderful tributes to the classic Metroid games of the NES and SNES days. This 2nd game is slightly longer with better graphics. Both are great additions to the Metroid game genre at a fair and economical price. Keep up the good work SEEP!
game was great nice micro-vania pixel art are nice , cards collection artwork are awesome , good sequel to cosmosbit
ok so i like the improvements from the first game. the change up to bosses getting their own seperated dungeon runs was something original and appreciated, also the 4face boss in the ice level was genuinely tough especially with the randomly sporadic bullets shooting out and randomly raining down kinda reminicent of the ghost of Ganon at the end of Zelda 2,which is quite a compliment, especially since up till that point none of them from either cosmos game including the final boss of Cosmos Bit were overly difficult, shut up and take my money if yall do a third installment of the Cosmos/Stella series, following the progression it would be awesome to see Stella in a tribute to Metroid Prime next, however even if it was the same but expanded upon further i'd still enjoy it! Bravo Steep and keep improving,im on board! HOWEVER THERE IS ONE MAJOR GRIPE!!!!!! DUDES>>>>>>> THE DOUBLE JUMP IS B.S. you have to let go of all buttons push the jump button and THEN proceed with the rest of the jump and if you take damage....FORGET IT! I rage quit a few times in the molten level near the end i made it all the way through to the switch then you got these fireballs over this large pit you can't avoid both of them from the low ground and your trecking from this long journey to the switch then this nearly im possible part and you have to back track the whole way back to the save point, it's a cheap way to add fake difficulty and this is the by far of the two times you have to go this great distance for a switch just to back track the whole way w o dying but at least there isnt a nearly impossible t avoid instant death after you make it all the way to the switch, this is my only gripe but i think i make a good point, but again i otherwise loving the series and hope in a possible third installment any backtracking won't be to excruciating lol
This was a super fun little game. It took about 3 hours to 100%. My only complaint is that some save points are very spread out. Outside of that its solid.
Just play the first one. The double-jump here is a finicky, frustrating mess.
