Slugish, badly done cashgrabby EA title. PTW portion is stupidly apparent - 50$+ for a ship that rises max HP of your hero in combat and provides stupid ammount of additional utility. Want to get ship by playing game? Good luck with that - ship costs the same currency you spend on Packs. So if you want ship - you play with crappy deck and lose alot, get more packs - dont get new ship and lose alot. Genius move devs. Yor packs cost 1,5$ like in effing Hearthstone - insane greed. Your game is not 10% as polished or interesting to play. Get a reality check - you cant ask THAT much money for your "product". Some whales would probabaly give you a ton of money just for the novelty of your cards being robots - but thats it. To hell with your "it is very important for us to get your feedback to refine the game's balance and gameplay.". If you wanted balance - you wouldnt put a bloody full functioning cash-shop at the very begining. You want our money and thats about it - and you want stupidly unreasonable ammount of our money. Cheers.
- pay to win - another card game try to make money on steam - tutorial make me headache

Cosmos Invictus is a layer cake of strategy. From the formations, to logistics (fuel, buffs), to deck building, to the mechs themselves, events, and energy - all of it is necessary to understand every play made in your battles. Meanwhile, you have 90 seconds to do it. They were able to place a multi-tiered twist on a classic genre, with great artwork, and extremely active developer community. Nothing is out of reach, as far as any feel of a grind - The best cards aren't given to you in the tutorial, but you don't have to play too long, either. Additionally, despite some parts that HAVE to be RNG, you may find yourself in a moment where you think it's over, but see a fuel-play against your opponent to wipe the mechs off the board. You'll know the clutch play when you have it in this game. I confidently say yes, even if it weren't free to play.
Игра мертва как 3 года хyли она в стиме забыла?
good game
From the time i played this i see it a mutch PTW game like denna3 said in there review i can see it got some good point but sadly PTW game wish they remove these games from steam my self. for the little i play of the game its ok
Sadly I must agree with most of negative comments. The Gfx is pretty good for EA, the mechanics are interesting. I even don't mind to put some cash for a game that is really fun to play and balanced. But there is really a paywall already at the start. - Truly expensive packs, after the tutorial you are left with 80k credits, and a pack is 100k - oh already pushing to spend 2$ to get an additional pack - Can't forge cards you don't own at least 1 copy - totally a no go. - Ratio for disentaching cards 1:10 - really? - After the tutorial, tried some missions. Really frustrating, with the few cards you have - I wasn't even able to beat AI if not with many retries, plus Time against AI while learning the game is non-sense - New ships are incredibly expensive as well, the standard ship with 1 Refuel space = most of time your other mechs will get destroyed since slot is taken Compared to Duelyst or Labyrinth, this game stands no change. If you want to get more players, first fix your greedy cashgrab needs, show the game is worthy and the playerbase will increase, then for sure people will think about investing some money on it, for sure having such a "f2p" model at the start won't help.
The essence of card games are good looking cards with nice flavor text on them. This has veeery little variety of cards, card art is bland and gray and there is no lore / flavor text on any of them. The game mechanics are mostly taken from heartstone (which is not bad) but it just isn't much fun.
You put mechs on the battlefield - who have a limited energy (generally 2 or 3 energy - at least at the start). Attack anything - use 1 energy Get attacked - use 1 energy Add a pilot (small boost to att/hp) - use 1 energy If you use up the energy - sit at the base to recharge a couple of turns. If you have one mech already there, all other tired mechs get destroyed (more slots with grind to higher spaceship). Some quality of life problems such as low resolution hard to read cards / hover on the card doesn't dynamically let you read / can't click on the opponent's things to see them (at least when I was trying to see their pilot in use) / not widescreen. Those are probably EA issues that will be improved, so no big deal. The main problem is that the game feels clunky. I just didn't enjoy the base game mechanics. From other aspects it seemed fine - such as I lost first match and it gave decent progress even with loss. It seems to have reasonable campaign mode. But with the core game mechanics not feeling fun, I have to give thumbs down since that aspect will remain no matter how much the game is polished.
Typical Pay to Win card game model. Imagine Hearthstone if you could pay to have more starting life, more room on the board and better hero powers, on top of being able to buy cards. Balance is also terrible. Don't bother with this one.
