Hands down one of my favorite games ever. Easily my fav Rougelike on Steam too. Its brutally hard, fast paced, skull bashing chaos. Whether you get clowned seconds after dropping in, or you become an immortal god whose only weakness is map hazards, it's extremely addicting hardcore gameplay that always has something new to offer you, whilst also constantly coming up with new ways to drive you insane. Prior to downloading the full game I played the demo for a VERY long time, probably too long, and after spending 460+ hours grinding through it, I thought I was prepared for the full game. I thought I would be able to cruise through the endless levels and easily beat everything. I was wrong, very wrong. Instantly I was met with a ridiculous amount of new weapons, perks, enemies, maps, and mechanics! I felt like a kid in a candy shop, but the kid realized the candy shop was also in Disney Land! I cannot praise the Devs enough for this absolute gem of a game! And I really dont understand how it isn't more popular!
10/10. Breaks balls.
This game is awesome! Played the demo for a few runs and just felt that it had *something* and wanted to go-ahead and pull the trigger on buying the full version -- and the full version added everything I thought the demo was missing (mainly a small little hub to pick a randomly-offered load-out before each run); another person described it as "Nuclear Throne but first person" and it scratches that exact same itch. I keep finding myself want to do a new run immediately after losing, and even with only playing for two hours (at time of this review) I keep finding each run different and fun. Really like it! I don't normally like shooters at all, but I love Nuclear Throne.
Great game
Yeah is aight
THIRTEEN! THIRTEEN!
Up there with Nightmare Reaper for fun, random, rogue-ish, boomer-y shooter. Sell the starting pistol every time!
hra je strašna
Beautiful boomer shooter that needs more attention. Easily my favorite out of the many that are out there. It is unforgiving and hard. Amazing selection of weapons and skills/upgrades that create a very unique run every time; even if it does not work. Harder than dark souls to me lmao
Very well made roguelike, I keep returning to it to blast eldritch abominations.
