The game is very slow, you can't speed it up. There is no save button, the game saves automatically from time to time. The in game info is incomplete & not really helpful. Animations are rather unrealistic, basic, stretchy & don't catch any of the true beauty of chickens, or roosters. Breeding is childish, so it's more of a very tamed down game. I had also difficulty to figure out how the thing with the eggs works, didn't manage to sell one single egg so far. Navigation is clunky & cumbersome, though at least i had no lag & could use my wacom pen without any problems, though i would prefer the option to use the mouse entirely instead of the keyboard. Overall more options to everything surely wouldn't hurt. A name hoovering text when holding the mouse over a hen/rooster would be very much appreciated. The names of the hens/roosters are in most cases invisible because it's a 2D info relative not to the camera but to the chicken. The zoom out is limited, so that an overview of the enclosement is difficult. The sound of matchete on weed resembles matchete on stone. There is no option to move or sell an object once placed, so if you place it wrong or want to move it, you can't. It's confusing what you are actually selling, a highlighted selected hen/rooster would be helpful here & the name next to the selling option. Music is ok, nothing thrilling but at least not too overdone. I didn't encounter any gamebreaking bugs or crashes, so that's a plus. I would really appreciate it if the chickens were made prettier & more realistic, after all, the game doesn't contain much gameplay, so at least the graphics should be more attractive.
So, is it worth the 10 bucks ? I am not sure, probably not,
maybe only if you are a chicken fanatic or yearn to play something slow & not too stressful.
We'll see how this game develops, hopefully it won't be abandoned or just developed forever.
