Corgi Race

Adorable corgis and great humor. I've enjoyed the few hours I've spent with the game so far training my corgi, Terry, and getting him ready for his first big race. Recommend!

A very fun little game. Needs a bit of polish here and there but it looks like the dev is working on it. If you like sim games or cute dogs (or especially both) definitely give it a go.

Corgi racing is a cute concept, but unfortunately that is all the game is selling - a concept. The game is not in a playable state and it is very poorly executed. Not a fun experience at all, unless you like watching paint dry.

EDIT TO ADD: The game uses AI to make some visuals. Not sure what visuals, but I do not condone this, so... In it's current state, I can't recommend this. I want to like this game, it's an adorable concept, the art style is cute, and it reminds me of this old flash game I loved to play that was similar, but with greyhounds. However, I have run into SEVERAL problems within the first few minutes of the game that I would like to outline in hopes the creators see this and fix it. - The game is WAY TOO LOUD when you first open it up, and it does NOT let you change the settings until about 5-10 minutes into the game (depending on how fast you can get through the dialog and how long it takes the corgi's in the first race to finish). It blew my eardrums out within the first 5 seconds of opening the game and I had to take my headphones off until the last corgi, very very slowly walk across the finish line - I don't know if all the races are this way, but the first race they have you watch drags on way too long because you're waiting for a corgi to slowly walk across the finish line. Half the time, the corgis will just sit there or roll over for a solid few seconds. This is charming, however when its the last corgi doing this and all others have crossed the finish line, it looses its charm very quickly (especially since at the time I was waiting for it to allow me to access the game settings to turn the volume down) - The game runs incredibly poorly. It lags, stutters, and often times doesn't register your inputs, likely due to the lag, which makes it very challenging to train the dogs when you're supposed to click on them to get them to sit. Spam clicking did not help, nor did a single click, leading to an untrained corgi and a frustrated me - The overworld has no labels, making navigation difficult, but this is more of a minor gripe as there are some context clues to help figure out what's what, like the store having a store sign, the race track obviously being a race track, but things like the newspaper and puppy farm are not obvious as to what they are meant to be until you click on them Again, I want to like this game and play more of it, but it is just...unplayable right now. It feels like an early access game that needs to be worked on, not a fully fledged game
