Concealed Intent is a simultaneous turn-based game of tactical space combat. Players control their ships in a fully 3D world - hunting down their enemies, just as they are being hunted themselves. In Concealed Intent you know your enemies are out there, but not exactly where, or even what they are.

i am big fan of turn based games and i liked this game and its promising.
It's a fascinating idea - CJ Cherryh and Traveller 2300 both have worked with the idea of space-battles-through-stealth before - but the gameplay here just doesn't grab me. Perhaps because I don't feel like I have much agency. Enemies spend a lot of time flying around at high speed, but that boosts their signal sky-high - would it be a good tradeoff anyway if it's getting me out of maximum-damage range of their weapons? Feels impossible to tell.
So far so fun. I just stared playing. Completed the tutorial and a mission and a skirmish.
I tried to love this game. Slick and easy to use interface, nice load out options, turn based combat. But it quickly fell flat for me. The campaign story is non-existent, you only ever seem to command one main ship and then drones around it. There just wasn't much depth or progression in the game and I aborted.
I'm only a few mission into the campaign but I can already tell that this game is super low quality. The interface could use a lot of polish, "ships" just turn on a dime 180 degrees no problems, story seem to be written a... Well to be fair in a recent review of another game I said 12 years old but in comparison to that game, we might as well just say that Concealed intent has no story whatsoever. I could just write a superior storyline in 5 minutes like I used to do in my D&D campaigns back in the day... So no story, the gameplay is piss poor and super trivial... This is like a bad phone game ported to PC. I got it for two bucks in a sale and I still think I paid too much. One big pro tho: no bugs or instability encountered so far. I guess I can at least say that about this game.
Still going through the tutorial, but so far this game is great. The tutorial is some of the best guided learning I've seen and has me very excited about the game.
This game isn't much to look at, but if you're seeking a turn based tactical space game, this game nails it. The fact that this isn't some micromanaging RTS is a HUGE plus for me personally. The controls and tutorial seem a little off-put at first, but after 1/2 hr I got adjusted to them (and the controls are actually fantastic imo). You can purchase full price if you're really craving it. If you end up paying $10, 100% worth and you'll likely be very satisfied with your purchase.
Really enjoyed this game for the most part. It plays sort of like Frozen Synapse where everyone puts in their moves and then they resolve. The other big feature the game draws off of is that it is a 3D plane, which is awesome.... usually. Getting to hide behind planets and manuever in a 3D way for stealth and tactics? Great. A mission where you have to halt three carfts, and one sprints up, another to the right, and the third down untill you have to zoom out into the next damn galaxy? That mission agitated me. I recommend this game. Overall the plot existed but was rather weak and not explainedmuch, but the mechanics were fun and the challenges presented ot me kept me entertained. In the latter game it gets cool because you have more customizable ships and tools/weapons, butt hats also when the challenges start playing off the 3D bit more. The challenge is fun, but eventually it just hurts to look at when its abused to the max. Really enjoyed this game overall.
This game is great!.... More people need to know about this, a larger community is the only thing it lacks. I realy want to share this with others.
