Community Button is one of those rare games that proves an interesting idea does not need complex mechanics to capture attention. Developed and published by RecursionSplash, the game revolves around an incredibly straightforward premise: players press a shared button and contribute to a constantly growing community-wide total. On paper, the concept sounds almost too simple to sustain interest, yet the developers have built an engaging incremental experience around collective participation, progression systems, and the curiosity that comes from being part of a larger online community. The result is a surprisingly compelling social experiment that blends idle gameplay with multiplayer interaction in an unconventional way. The game's biggest strength lies in its ability to make players feel connected to something larger than themselves. Every button press contributes to a global count shared by everyone playing the game. This simple mechanic transforms an otherwise mundane action into a collaborative effort where thousands of individual contributions combine into a single massive achievement. Watching the total increase over time creates a sense of involvement that many larger multiplayer games struggle to achieve. Even though each contribution is small, players can see the direct impact of their participation within the larger community. Progression serves as the primary motivation for continued play. As players interact with the button, they earn experience, unlock milestones, and gradually advance through various progression systems. These rewards create a satisfying loop that encourages regular engagement. Much like traditional idle games, Community Button thrives on the appeal of incremental growth. Numbers rise steadily, new objectives become available, and players are constantly given reasons to return. The progression may be simple, but it effectively transforms repetitive actions into meaningful accomplishments. One of the more fascinating features is the live visualization of player activity. Through global tracking systems and interactive displays, the game highlights participation across different regions, giving players a broader perspective on the community's involvement. This feature reinforces the multiplayer aspect of the experience by showing that activity is happening simultaneously around the world. It turns what could have been a solitary idle game into something that feels alive and constantly evolving. There is a certain satisfaction in knowing that countless other players are contributing alongside you, all pushing toward the same collective goals. The game's presentation embraces minimalism, which ultimately works to its advantage. Rather than overwhelming players with elaborate graphics or excessive visual effects, Community Button focuses on clear interfaces and accessible information. Everything is designed to support the core gameplay loop without distracting from it. This simplicity helps maintain the game's identity and ensures that players remain focused on progression, participation, and community interaction. The clean presentation also makes the game approachable for newcomers who may be unfamiliar with incremental or idle genres. Another notable aspect is how the game balances cooperation and competition. While everyone contributes toward the same global objective, individual players can still pursue personal milestones and compare their achievements with others. This dual structure creates an interesting dynamic where players work together while simultaneously striving to improve their own standing. The combination of personal progression and community-wide participation helps sustain engagement over longer periods and gives players multiple reasons to continue interacting with the game. The relaxed nature of the experience is also worth highlighting. Community Button does not demand constant attention or quick reflexes. Players can engage with it casually, checking in whenever they choose and progressing at their own pace. This accessibility makes it particularly appealing for those who enjoy idle games that fit comfortably into daily routines. Whether played actively for short periods or left running in the background, the game accommodates different playstyles without placing pressure on the player. Naturally, the simplicity that defines Community Button may also limit its appeal. Players looking for intricate mechanics, deep strategy, narrative content, or action-packed gameplay may find the experience too repetitive. Much of the enjoyment comes from appreciating gradual progression and participating in a shared online activity. Those who do not find satisfaction in incremental growth may struggle to remain invested for extended periods. The game embraces its niche wholeheartedly, which means its appeal is strongest among fans of idle and experimental multiplayer experiences. As an evolving project, the game also benefits from future potential. Its core idea provides a solid foundation for additional features, events, progression systems, and community-driven content. The concept is flexible enough to support growth, and the success of future updates will likely play a major role in shaping the game's longevity. Even in its current form, however, the foundation is strong enough to demonstrate the creativity behind the project. What ultimately makes Community Button memorable is not the act of pressing a button itself, but the feeling of participating in a collective digital activity alongside players from around the world. The game turns one of the simplest possible interactions into an engaging progression system built around cooperation, curiosity, and shared achievement. It succeeds because it understands that even the smallest actions can become meaningful when they are part of something larger. For players who enjoy idle games, social experiments, and community-focused progression systems, Community Button offers a refreshing and surprisingly addictive experience. Its minimalist design, rewarding progression, global participation features, and unique multiplayer concept combine to create a game that stands apart from more conventional entries in the genre. While its intentionally repetitive nature will not appeal to everyone, those who embrace its premise will find a clever and engaging experience that demonstrates how powerful simplicity can be. Rubbish game with nothing to do
Visually a nightmare, and just slop. Honestly one to avoid.
Edited: Thank you for the quick reply! The performance is great now after the update, even when changing pages in the menu, much more consistent! I'm excited to continue playing.

A few weeks ago, I would have given this game a positive review. But with all of the changes they're making, the game just keeps getting more and more frustrating. Not only does the bloat cause FPS issues. Now, instead of instantly getting rewarded for prestiges, achievements, etc.; it gets set to "pending". Which often doesn't even update unless you close the game and reopen it. Kind of defeats the purpose of leaving it open for "idle clicking" if it doesn't even update while in use.
