About
Command Reboot is a brain-burning journey that uses programming to pry the fate of the stars!
【Core Experience】In the vastness of deep space outlined by retro pixels, you will play as an intergalactic engineer, commanding intelligent robots to move forward with lines of precise programmes! Each string of commands will break out of a thrilling space crisis, and each logic flaw could trigger a robot's fall!
★ Epic space adventure exploration plot: the space ship is in distress during the interstellar voyage, leaving behind all kinds of difficulties as well as puzzles, which require the interstellar engineers to command the intelligent robots step by step by commands to break out in the space crisis. The programme you enter will be the light of hope to save the spacecraft.
★ Brain rollercoaster mechanism: from basic instructions to complex procedures, from a single mechanism to a complex combination of mechanisms, so that each crack to add challenge, exercise the meticulousness of the engineer's thinking, logic, so that engineers have something to look forward to the next level.
★ Experience Programmer's Delight: Watch the chain of instructions entered by hand trigger perfectly like dominoes, and the intelligent robots follow your instructions to gracefully execute the operations - this may be a more uptempo moment than passing the level!

You have to move the robot by programming a set of commands, and when a command is executed, all the Hazards in the stage also do their unique activation commands. So your task is to program a set of commands that will navigate the robot through the hazards towards the end. It starts off simple, but you quickly have to play the game through trial and error. Keeping track of all the hazards and enemies' states is simply too overwhelming, so you have to simulate partial solutions until you find the right moves. Which is identical to programming! As someone who is very familiar with programming, the puzzles in the game feel exactly like debugging a code until it works. I wish the game would grade you on how optimal your solution is, it would have added an extra fun layer of difficulty. However, my gripes with the game is that it sometimes feels like it was made with either very amateur or AI. Here's why. - The scaling of the sprite work is not equal. having sprites with different pixel resolutions is jarring. - Some different looking enemies / hazards behave exactly the same. Or they appear to be but the game doesn't explain them well - The writing and instruction are full of grammatical errors and incomprehensible sentence structures, making it difficult to understand what is being said. - The timing of the hazards and the sprite work is sometimes difficult to comprehend what's gonna happen next, making it much more convenient to just send instructions and see what happens rather than plan out a route. But otherwise, not that bad. Can be enjoyable.
