About
Explore asteroids and extract their gold!

The longer you stay on an asteroid, the faster enemies will spawn, and the more threatening they'll be. You'll need to stay for a while though, because your evil employer won't let you live if you don't meet your quota! If you really want to excel, try exceeding your quota so you can buy even more upgrades!

Use your gold to buy unique stackable items! Every item is satisfying to use, and quite impactful. Try out combinations of items to find powerful synergies.

You can also use your hard-earned gold to improve your stats. These stat buffs aren't typically as strong as items, but they're still important for any asteroid miner. (aka comet rogue)

Each level is procedurally-generated and fully destructible. There are various traps and treasures to be found!

When you die, your gold is automatically put towards unlocking new weapons and pets!

So good that it forced me to make a mod loader https://github.com/Comet-Rogue-Mod-Loader/Comet-Rogue-Mod-Loader/releases
A friend told me about this game and I thought I'd try it out. It's pretty simplistic, but honestly is one of the better roguelikes I have played. I liked it enough to go for number 1 on the leader board if that says anything about the entertainment level.
Really fun game, it has a simplistic charm to it. The gameplay has a good amount of depth and without being too difficult. Definitely worth trying out! By the way, the game runs beautifully on linux through proton.
Much better than I expected it to be!

Disclaimer: I recieved a code for this game early from the developer to try it out and make a video about it. I haven't made the video yet, but I will, i promise :) This game is insanely simple. You land on a planet with a gun, you shoot enemies and rocks to gain gold, once you have enough gold, you extract. For that gold, you buy items and upgrades to your character. And that's it. You do this until you beat the main boss, then you can loop and go for as long as you'd like. But for how simple this game is, it's insanely freaking fun! The items range from 'yeah that's a pretty decent boost' to '♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane crazy wtf how did you come up with this' and I love it. It's the kind of rogue-like where the game tells you 'break me, I dare you, I double dare you' Give this a shot if you can. The 5usd price tag is insanely worth it for what you're getting. It's also fully functional on Steam Deck.
Incredibly fun game! if you like Spelunky, Nuclear Throne, and incremental games then just use your coffee money and buy this right away. The developer is an awesome person as well.
i picked it up recently cause my friend convinced me to buy it, and spent about an hour playing it. heres what ill say short and sweet. runs only last for 3 areas, the third being the final boss. It's a very pick up and play type game, and I feel like you dont see those around much anymore (unless you loop, which obviously lengthens your run) Items are quality over quantity. There's only a clutch of items, and ive seen repeats plenty of times. but that works well for this type of game. It's more so about considering what time is best to get these items or stats before the final area The polish is incredible, and the juice is palpable. The characters, weapons, enemies, and items are clearly very fine tuned, and I imagine thats where most of the development time went. As for the juice, it's a bit much. The impact frames become a nuisance even in late game. but most of the problem areas can be turned off in the settings so its all good Overall first impression: 8.67/10 - im still new to the game and its mechanics, though, so score is subject to change
Tons of fun once you get the hang of it! The upgrades you can get are great and well-explained. Gameplay is chaotic, especially the big boss fight. Mining after getting a few upgrades is satisfying. The more I play, the more I want to keep playing. I really should get back to work...
Good gameplay, with elements of Spelunky and Risk of Rain. Hope this will get updated with more content and QOL.
