About
Cognition Method is a story-driven first-person puzzle game inspired by 2001: A Space Odyssey and Solaris. Manipulate gravity, navigate impossible spaces, and uncover the secrets of a surreal artifact beyond human understanding.

The year is 2085. Earth is gone, humanity survives on Mars. You are William Mortwood, an astronaut of the Martian Academy. A remote space station has gone silent after bringing a mysterious Artifact aboard. The crew vanished, and your son was among them. Now you must uncover the truth, face challenges that defy reason… and try not to lose yourself along the way.
Master mechanics that twist gravity, space, and perception as you move through impossible structures. Each puzzle challenges not only your logic, but the way you understand the world around you. Approach each challenge from different angles to find your way forward.
Step into a place of vast, silent spaces, shifting architecture — a world that feels alien and inhuman, yet strangely intentional… and not entirely welcoming. Is the Artifact simply a structure, or something more?
What happened to those who entered the Artifact? And what part of the protagonist’s past refuses to let him go?
Through abandoned recordings and fragmented notes scattered across a space station, follow the traces of a vanished expedition and piece together a deeply personal story about curiosity and the limits of the human mind.
Explore two contrasting environments: the space station is bright, vivid and human, filled with signs of life and the remains of the expedition. In contrast, the Artifact is cold and minimalistic, full of impossible geometry and silent corridors.
Find your way within a mysterious artifact and unveil a non-ordinary story.

The best way to describe it might be Stanley Kubrick directing the game Portal inside the Backrooms but in space. This is one of those games that makes its inspirations clear, is an obvious homage to 2001: A Space Odyssey, but takes that influence into much stranger and more unsettling territory, and despite some shortcomings, the concept works. The biggest highlight of is undoubtedly its LEVEL DESIGN. This is where the game truly stands out. The environments are designed to make you lost and curious and, more importantly, encourage you to pay attention to the spaces around you. The way the game uses architecture, scale, isolation, and exploration creates a constant feeling that something is wrong, even when seemingly nothing is happening, because of the atmosphere, that deserves just as much praise. The game manages to create a very distinctive mood, and much of that comes from its excellent sound design. Ambient sounds, unsettling noises, and moments of silence work together with the environments to create tension without relying solely on jump scares or traditional horror tropes. The story was another pleasant surprise. The pacing can be uneven, and some scenes drag considerably, but the narrative kept me hooked from beginning to end. The mystery is well constructed, and the game constantly gives you a reason to keep moving forward just to find out what is actually going on. But not everything works as well. Visually, it leaves something to be desired. The game manages to compensate for some of its technical limitations through its art direction and atmosphere, but the graphics aren't among its strongest aspects. The NPCs and dub are also one of the weakest parts, both in terms of presentation and behavior, and they end up feeling noticeably out of place compared to the quality found elsewhere. I caught myself trying to identify if the dub is actually AI, because of its poor acting. The pacing is another issue. Some sequences could have been tighter, especially because the game proves elsewhere that it knows exactly how to use its environments to keep the player engaged. Yet I found incredibly short for its release price. I completed 100% of the achievements in roughly 8 hours and at the end I just sat there wanting more. So it's not a perfect game, not for this price, but it clearly has an identity, strong ideas, and, above all, EXCEPTIONAL level design. Score: 6.8/10. It has some obvious flaws, but it also has A LOT personality. If you're into atmospheric experiences, strange sci-fi, exploration, and games that make you question the space around you, it's worth checking out.

I really wanted to like this game. The atmosphere it creates is genuinely fantastic. Sadly let down by questionable voice acting and stability issues - for me three late game crashes with very poor checkpoint spacing that turned minor annoyances (like no way to skip dialog scenes that hard lock you from progressing further) into genuine frustration, and at that point I put the game down. The section after you
rescue eden
involves a very lengthy sequence of dialog cutscenes and challenges around the base, including a lengthy "light horror" sequence that - the first time around - created genuine tension and atmosphere. On two separate occasions a part of the non-euclidian geometry failed to load and I had no choice but to walk into the void and reset - the level literally didn't exist past that point, and on the third and final time where I got to re-enabling the beam, the game hard-crashed to desktop on me. Bear in mind each time involved a lengthy sequence of unskippable dialogue, I stopped playing the game. A real shame because when it does manage to create atmosphere in the "inside" levels it's very effective. The sequences around the ship became diversions for me, rather than adding to the game.
More of a walking simulator than a puzzle game. Every puzzle is like a drop of water in the desert, and the puzzles are not even that well designed, just simple "cube and button based testing" but without any portals. Instead, the game takes its time to tell a terribly fatalistic story that doesn't grab interest. It feels harsh to write, but I simply couldn't bring myself to care about the plot.
Gone Home, Light(Remake), 35MM, Luto, Revail, What Remains of Edith Finch,
First of all: If you are looking for lots of difficult puzzles, this game is not for you. Are you a fan of Sci-Fi, maybe you enjoyed Lem or P.K.Ds books? You'll enjoy this one. The story is not something completely new, but it delivers it quite well. I also enjoyed the visual style, even though it's a rather simple one. My playtime doesn't quite resemble the real time it takes to finish the game. Realistically this is a 4-6 hour game. I'd say give this game chance
Sci-fi Walking simulator. Beautiful Brutalist concrete structures with shifting gravity-based puzzles. Some exploration of loss and regret. Also has collectables and enough achievements to keep you entertained. Not a super-long game, but worth the price of admission. Very Happy with this.
Finished the Game in a little over 3 hours. I did it all in one Session. It kept me going and going. Visuals are stunning, the Puzzles are easy to mid in challenge. Overall a good recommendation!
