Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 11 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Coffee Talk Tokyo returns as a cozy, narrative-driven visual novel set in a late-night café in modern Tokyo. Brew drinks, listen to heartfelt stories, and shape the lives of humans and yōkai alike through meaningful conversations and impactful choices.
In a city of paper and steel, where old and new coexist, a small café becomes a refuge from the sweltering summer heat. Behind the counter, you serve the right drink at the right moment while your customers open up about love, loss, identity, and second chances, all to chill lo-fi beats.
• Brew hot and cold drinks for humans and yōkai
• Listen to deeply personal, branching stories
• Make dialogue choices that influence character outcomes
• Unlock hidden Tomodachill posts through interactive hashtags
• Discover multiple endings shaped by your decisions
Every shift brings new conversations, new connections, and new possibilities.
While the atmosphere feels familiar, the customers and their journeys are entirely new.
You’ll meet:
• Kenji, a traditional kappa salaryman searching for meaning after retirement.
• Vin, the Barista’s assistant coping with a fractured past and the lingering consequences of a previous disaster.
• Ayame, a happy-go-lucky but recently deceased It girl struggling to understand her unexpected afterlife.
And many more new faces, each story unfolds based on how you listen, respond, and serve.
The composer of Coffee Talk and Coffee Talk Episode 2, Andrew “AJ” Jeremy, returns with an all-new lo-fi soundtrack to accompany every shift behind the counter.
Serve returning favorites and discover new drink options, including refreshing cold beverages perfect for Tokyo’s summer heat.
Enhance your latte art with sprinkle stencils, then personalize each drink by adding milk and etching your own finishing touches.
Engage with your customers beyond the café through Tomodachill, the in-game social network.
Tomodachill now features clickable hashtags. By following these hashtags, you can uncover hidden posts from characters you do not yet follow, revealing new layers of the story like a trail of breadcrumbs.
Some hidden posts contain important clues that influence how storylines unfold and can affect your path toward the best endings. Others expand the wider Coffee Talk world, sometimes offering glimpses of familiar faces.
Every post, reply, and connection may matter more than it first appears.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Reviews
Coffee Talk Tokyo is an awfully written story and easily the worst of the three games. If you're somehow looking at this without having seen the previous two Coffee Talks, the series has a consistent issue of meaningless, placeless, storytelling where a character walks up to you, calmly exposits their entire character profile, and then has some droll emotional moment culminating in nothing. CT Tokyo is an almost comically exaggerated version of this set up. Characters barge into your store and tell you about their mental and physical illnesses, their struggles in life, and their exact character conflict within ten seconds without even a second thought. The Coffee Shop is a void of a setting. There's nothing unique about it. You can tell any story you want, and so that's exactly what happens. You get a handful of disparate, boring, contextless stories from charmless characters that have no motivations in a world that means nothing and does nothing. You could frankly read the TV tropes of this game and experience 90% of what this story has to offer, because this story is a TV tropes page in terms of presentation. Just a list of characters with their tired, boring, and largely unrelated stories.

It's coffee talk with Japanese folklore influence. Still the same wonderful kind of game as the previous coffee talks. So if you liked the previous ones then this should be next on your list. If you have never played coffee talk but are familiar with Tavern Talk or Vallhala, then its similar but set in a modern time and setting - kind of. Lots of mythical/fantasy characters. Some things I wish they could have done: more characters, the ones they already have I got really attached to - so I want to see more characters like that and hear their stories. Last longer: See aforementioned about having more characters. Lastly, developers of games like these really need your support so that there can be more of them. And IMO there need to be more games like this. Developers if you are reading this, I am expecting the next installment ASAP.
UM JOGO MARAVILHOSO PARA QUEM GOSTA DE OUVER ESTORIAS E FAZER BEBIDAS
The best title in the series yet, Coffee Talk Tokyo pays homage to the previous games while still retaining its own identity. Although I miss some of the old characters, the new cast are all wonderful personalities, and I think I'd have to say they may be my favourite cast so far (especially since
my absolute favourites Hendry and Rachel appear briefly too
). As far as the story goes, it is a lot more heartfelt and explores mortal themes in a unique way, which wins extra points for me. I found that the story was easier to follow along than Hibiscus & Butterfly, and felt "real" which allowed me to relate easier and immerse myself. Anyway, drink coffee and enjoy your blue niiiights ~
Suppper cozy, hot topics like climate change in the story, I just love it.
Gracias.
