An honest game with frankly great design for it being these devs first game. I look forward to seeing more from these guys!
NB

Out of boredness i decided to download it ngl it was quite fun so if u want short platforming game instead of downloading emulators for super mario and other platform games this is fun maybe short but fun :D
Cyberpunk isn't my aesthetic,so I tend not to bother with it,but i'm glad I tried this! There isn't really a story, just get to the end within the time limit while grabbing green cube things. You have unlimited lives, and no enemies,so your only real threat is the clock. The game plays really well. The jumps are a bit floaty, but once I got used to them,it was a breeze. The levels aren't overly long, or rage-inducingly hard,I'd say they're just right. The stages look great,I especially liked LV2's design with all the pipes. Mia's design is really pretty, and her run cycle is...umm...delightful xD That's to say it looks really silly, this may irritate some people, but I loved it. My only real gripe was a specific checkpoint in LV2,I made a bad call on a jump and missed a green pickup, only to fall on the checkpoint, getting stuck with no way back up. The game doesn't have a restart stage button that I could find, so I ended up waiting for the timer to run out so I could try again. I won in about 20min,by the end I was surprised by how good I was getting at it. Even though it was short,I found it to be a satisfying and fun run.
I really like this game!! It definitely took a little bit for me to get the hang of, but once I got the controls down, I was good to go!! It took me a few tries to get all the data cubes on level 2, but now that I've collected all for level 1 and 2, I'm challenging myself to see how fast I can complete each level WHILE collecting all the data cubes. I hope more levels come to this game, the art is super cool and the game runs really nicely!!
ezpz lemon squeezy. nice game demo. would play more levels if they existed
Codename: TIARAS is a student project from DigiPen. One of the first things students should be taught in game development is that 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid 1990's with dedicated 3D cards like the Voodoo3 and the ATI Rage. But the students were deliberately mistaught that's it's okay to release obsolete 2D games in the 3D era of gaming... and certainly and professional developer seeing a prospective new hire who doesn't even know about 3D gaming probably isn't going to give them a job. Needless to say if an educational institution taught me incorrectly on purpose, I'd ask for my money back. This is yet another pointless 2D retro platformer infesting Steam... I can't imagine the disappointment from the students when they discovered this is what they had to make. No employer would be interested in hiring a student who wasn't even taught how to make contemporary 3D games. This is deadweight in any student portfolio. We also have to question what value there is for gamers on Steam when institutions flood the store with low quality 2D video game homework assignments... sure, it might make the students feel good about themselves, but this has no benefit for gamers who have to wade through this stuff to find professionally made 3D games. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 6 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
