Driving So Good

this game made me very confused. as you are able to turn in a car at your own will, turning in a motorbike isnt possible. i am not even beggining on how broken this game is. there is no interaction button, no climbing button, no attack button and no button to sit on the toilet in bobs hardware store. although this game is a 8/10, i think you can do better than only giving me 10 gender options rather than 75. walking through mountains is absoulotiley unrealistic, although the ability to walk through water is unique and a great feature. i think the killing of other lgbtq residents of woke city would be a cool feature, and although the game itself states that the game is a "perfect society where everything is built on equality, where crimes are nonexistent, and anger is just a theory of the past", having no buttons to do anything is a bit misleading.

Clown Theft Auto: Woke City, developed and published by RIVERSIDE SPORTS, is an offbeat open-world sandbox that tries to blend parody, freeform gameplay, and social satire into a single experience. On the surface, it positions itself as a chaotic playground set in a stylized futuristic city that prides itself on being a flawless utopia. Beneath that premise, however, the game leans heavily into absurdity, offering players a loosely structured environment where experimentation and unpredictability take center stage. The gameplay revolves around giving players freedom rather than direction. You are dropped into the city with access to a variety of mechanics—driving vehicles, exploring the environment, interacting with NPCs, and engaging in small activities that loosely resemble missions. There are elements of progression, such as earning money or acquiring property, but these systems often feel disconnected from one another. Instead of forming a cohesive gameplay loop, they exist more as individual features that players can engage with at their own pace. This can create moments of spontaneous fun, especially for those who enjoy sandbox experimentation, but it also means that the experience can quickly feel aimless without a strong sense of purpose. A defining aspect of the game is its attempt at humor and satire. The city itself is portrayed as an exaggerated version of a “perfect” society, and much of the game’s identity comes from poking fun at that idea through over-the-top scenarios and character interactions. The tone is intentionally exaggerated and often chaotic, but the effectiveness of its humor varies widely. Some moments come across as deliberately absurd and entertaining, while others feel unfocused or lacking a clear comedic direction. Rather than building toward a cohesive commentary, the game tends to rely on scattered jokes and situations, which can make the overall tone feel inconsistent. Mechanically, the game struggles to match its ambition. Movement and driving systems are serviceable but lack the responsiveness and polish found in more refined open-world titles. Interactions with the environment are limited, and while the game includes a range of features, they rarely evolve or deepen over time. The world itself appears large, but the activities within it can feel repetitive, reducing the incentive to explore beyond initial curiosity. What begins as a sense of freedom can gradually turn into a lack of meaningful engagement. The technical presentation further highlights the game’s rough edges. Visually, it adopts a simple, low-detail style that prioritizes functionality over immersion. Character models and environments are basic, and the overall aesthetic lacks cohesion. Performance can be inconsistent, with occasional bugs or awkward interactions that disrupt the flow of gameplay. These issues reinforce the impression that the game is more of an experimental project than a fully polished release. Despite its shortcomings, there is a certain novelty in what Clown Theft Auto: Woke City attempts to do. Its combination of sandbox mechanics and satirical tone is unusual, and for a short time, that uniqueness can be engaging. It feels like a game driven by ideas rather than execution, offering glimpses of creativity that aren’t fully realized. For players who enjoy exploring unconventional or rough-around-the-edges indie titles, there may be some value in its unpredictability. In the end, Clown Theft Auto: Woke City is a game defined more by its concept than its delivery. It provides a space for chaotic experimentation and humor, but lacks the structure, polish, and depth needed to sustain long-term interest. While it may offer brief moments of entertainment as a curiosity, it ultimately struggles to leave a lasting impression. Rating: 5/10
