Very nice game, the level maps are very big, there are a lot of cubes to destroy, they are fast, and accurate, so u have to be faster, and more accurate! Good music to to keep you motivated to retry and retry again https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjyfkNfxOkc

The game is amazingly retro, block like, simple 2d shooter, amazingly constructed in a way that inspires the "WOW" in you as that first binatone console wow'd you in the 1970's. This is gourgeous gaming at its best. But devilishly hard and mind numbingly addicting. You start with a map of the area in which you battle, whcih is a cube 10x10, a 100 levels, with 8 bosses. You make you way across these by conquering each in series starting from the bottom left. The game consists of a moving restricted area that you move your ship (square block) though. You can shoot, and direct your shot where you so desire. Your objective is to shoot the other blocks wandering around aimlessly, some of which disintegrate, others of which break into many blocks, which you have to destroy or quickly avoid. The movement is at such a pace, that you have to actively move, and select targets which will save you getting into contact with them and recieving damage. As you progress across the map beating each zone, the difficulty ramps up, the enemy changes characteristics. Some stages the blocks grow to become more of an obsctacle the more you shoot them, making you want to avoid shooting them at times. The you have blocks which shoot back. Thankfully, there are power ups which increase your shooting tempo and the type of shot, and its destructive power. Its really a great game go buy it, you wont be sorry, its a gem !!
Indie shooter?
It's hard to define DB, it's a mix between a shooter and a survival, the graphics don't help to understand what you are playing and it remembers me old arcade games which occult story or design to focus on skill. The "mission" selector is original and bosses are very good challenge.

Gameplay: 7/10
Graphics: 5/10
Music: 6/10
Story: /10
this very nicely crafted lost in bundles Dog Theory one is something you/i should try -more-. and, then, appreciate and show that -more-. a truly good and clever use of 50 MB, share this.
I am really digging this sequel to Thomas Was Alone. Less of the platforming nonsense and more shooting! I am bit confused as to what prompted Thomas to become so violent, but I am sure as I play further into the game his motives will become clear. I suspect it has something to do with those pesky yellow blocks...those filthy, nasty, multiplying bastards. Who are they to rob me of my health?! 8/10 blocks, would recommend.
Pros:
Not yet finished the game but man is it fun! If you're questioning wither or not to purchase this and are put off by the minimalistic art style, ignore that. The art style matches the gameplay perfectly. This is a 2D shooter that is a throwback to your old arcade shooters we all know and loved. The best comparison I can think of would be Asteroids meets R-Type. You are a green block that is for some reason, determined to be the only square in the universe. Go through the mostly scrolling levels and kill as many as 'enemies' as possible to build your chain bonus and score. Not all levels are the same, some have objectives such as destroying 5 of the red objective blocks, hidden in different nooks and crannies of the levels, or blow open some of the breakable wall pieces in hope to find green squares inside. With a few different weapon types all scattered within the levels, you'll soon find the ones you prefer most and notice that each serves a purpose giving you advantages in certain situations. Enemies will also drop different power ups such as a chain bonus, shield, weapon upgrade or a 'blow everything up around you'. The levels are short and fun, but that's not to say they are easy. With them being short but challenging, you will always think "I've got this next time!" after you die. 10+ tries later, that thought might come true. This game is definately hard to put down once you start and you will come up against your ol' mortal enemy, lying to yourself. You will be saying "... one more try" a fair few times I promise you that! I love the game with all the frustrations that come with it But I do highly recommend playing on Disastr mode as opposed to normal. Starting with the shield is the cheaters way out! On Disastr mode it's simple, you get hit, by anything, you die. It'll increase the challenge and the fun.
