Feels extremely broken at the moment, with the tutorial bugging out consistently at the brewing stage because the camera is pulled around I have to guess. There seems to be an arbitrary cap on the amount of objects on screen, meaning the cauldron will suddenly have all it's contents go invisible, brewers won't show them generating potions due to this strange limit and many other visual code things. The bar for the 'fond' resource or whatever seemed to expect me to maintain a specific number of things in the cauldron but every time the bar appeared, it needed to tick down like 4-5 times to actually register? The lack of visual indicators for the players contribution, such as a loading bar or otherwise makes it extremely unhelpful to figure out if I'm even really contributing to some tasks when things like potions aren't visibly displaying from the cauldron. The graphics aren't as much of a concern since I'm used to ASCII style art but they do feel slightly simplistic, on top of everything being extremely spaced out and you being unable to zoom to get everything to fit on screen. Overall feels quite under-baked but is a good attempt.
Too many bugs right now for a proper review. Funds drop for no reason, things you can buy can't be bought for no reason, a bad memory leak after a couple of hours slows the game to a crawl... It could be fun. Lots of good stuff in this game, but the bugs must be addressed promptly. 1/5
Cute as sin, but broken in current state
This game has a couple of neat ideas. Unfortunately that is the only thing it has going for it. If you want to try the game just downlaod the demo it has the exact same content (and bugs) as the full release. The game itself full of bugs: - The Brewers stop brewing when too man ingredients are in the cattle - The tutorial cannot be completed due to a dialogbox you cannot close - Fond does not work as it is explained and a host of others. Unfortunately the first bug can break the game for you if your foragers throw more ingredients into the cattle then the brewers can turn into potions. Now I can understand that as a first game from a new company there are problems with the game, but they put out a demo several weeks ago and all those bugs above where reported and it does not seem the game has been worked on in the meantime. In short: Great idea, good potential, but was released way too early in it's developement cycle.
My issues: Brewing randomly stops working Fond creation stops working Tutorial doesn't work properly Achievements don't trigger No updates that I found or notices from the creator. Game is cute but isn't playable, also called Clicky Cover, but you don't click, you hover to do things, you only click on upgrades. Requested refund. Should be easy fixes from the creator, if they get fixed I would like to play this again! But until then, I want my money back.
Game is broken in it's current state with no updates on forum, just go play Idle Colony
This game is completely unplayable. It's a simple supply-chain idle game, but not very well designed and implemented. It's very easy to block yourself without any way out. Fond is infinitely producing so vendors don't have any products to sell and there is nothing you can do about, other than start a new game... The developer really need to sit on this and fix it.
So ein Mist! Die Demo funktioniert, aber das MainGame NICHT!!!
