Price point + Quality + Content = Excellent Value Is it some pretentious commentary piercing at the rot in society? No. Is it the fun Jurassic romp that Universal has mostly failed to deliver to us over the decades themselves? Yes!!!! I regret this purchase less than a Taco Bell bender of equal value. And I do love Taco Bell.
i enjoy the premise and pray the developers work on some of the bugs, such as when a co op partner joins who as already in the game before they still have their inventory, as well as a quality of life patch to give a little bit of a hey go this way in the game, but i love the premise of the game so far and look forward to finishing it, :update: still keeping a positive review but some of the bugs ive ran into are almost game unforgivable, friend spawns in at the very start of the game, i die and we lose access to every key weve collected, so right now i am taking a break and hoping the developers fix alot of the issues and bugs, also hoping they improve the optomisation since the game is chugging alot of times and feels laggy, this review wiill stay positive unless the developers actively avoid fixing the issues and decide to give the players of the game a shaft.
fun game can be really good with work is a few things noticed while streaming like it lagging on the replay on 2nd monitor cause it's in back ground, ( happens alot of unity games), finding stuff to craft ammo etc or ammo itself was extremely low even with 2 huge ammo crates at a house, and some of the doors etc where hard to open fun game fells liek early access and they seam to update it a bit which is a good thing . will keep watchign and see how it progresses
Playing solo and I'm having a terrifying time! Gorgeous, thoughtful park design that makes me wish there was a tourist mode to enjoy Prehistoria while it was open. The dinosaurs are cool but their interactions could use a little fine tuning. The biggest challenge of this game is the hitboxes to interact with objects, but if you have patience you'll be rewarded with a sprawling theme park full of danger. The Sunken Forest section is absolutely nightmare fuel for me though, it's a very impressive dark enclosure but so terrifying to walk through! But yeah. I'd still recommend this game, there are some glitches and bugs to deal with but the Dev has been quick to work on fixing them!
Feels overall janky to play and doesn't run smooth. Concept of the game would be great but I feel as though it has some work needed.
Scuffed as hell, and not anywhere even remotely in an endearing way. Immersion is very quickly ruined by some pretty glaring lack of audio. No water noises whatsoever when swimming or wading. Directional audio is weird, sounds like your own footsteps are following you at all times. Swimming movement in particular is extremely clunky and infuriating when trying to navigate any sort of tight area. The game holds your hand very heavily in some aspects (i.e. a constant path of lights leading to objectives) while leaving you entirely to your own devices in others - I didn't even know there was an inventory & equip function until after I died with no gun in my hand to the first dinosaur you come across. Dinosaur bodies disappear immediately after death and have some crazy ragdolling prior to vanishing. Scripted dinosaur interactions often end with the dinosaur just... disappearing after their short path is completed. Would not recommend in it's current state, which is disappointing as the concept is very neat.
So far with this game I am 50/50. Right now me and my girlfriend are forced to play a new game because of the fact there literally is no ammo and that she spawns with no ammo. She ended up disconnected briefly and when she got back in she lost all her weapons and ammo. On the upsides I like the theme, the music and the designs of both the park itself and the dinosaurs. However I'm not liking that 90% of buildings you can search are empty and that resources are very scattered. I mean I would understand like a gift shop not holding ammo but then something a medical facility, it just doesn't make sense. I also don't like how you need at a certain distance in order for your shots to actually connect. So far we haven't had any bugs/glitches as of yet. I really do wanna enjoy this game but I think I'm gonna wait until I see more improvements added into the game because so far It feels a bit unfinished as to when it comes to finding resources in the game.
