Cities: Skylines II

I bought Cities Skylines years ago, but whenever I tried it as a n00b I always bounced off of it, just something as basic as the way power had to be provisioned annoyed me. Cities Ckylines 2 obviously launched to a very poor reception, so I gave it a wide berth, but after the original studio were replaced with Iceflake Studios I started to see some positive videos about the game, and after I heard about the new update coming out next week I took the plunge and bought the game. I have been enjoying it so far, my annoyance with CS power has been resolved in CS2 with roads automatically having power, water and sewerage built in. The game has built in tutorial stuff that is enough to help me along, I haven't had to google much, and it has been fun watching my first somewhat ill conceived town come to life.

After nearly 3 years since launch you'd think the game would have had all its issues sorted. The game doesn't even launch after: Checking integrity of game files (x3) Installing new graphics drivers Reinstalling Allowing through antivirus Deleting cache and all other associated files Trying to run directly from the .exe Trying to run in administrator Do not buy this game play the first one instead. If someone knows any way to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

game itself is good and improving with the new devs. negative review because i have to have an account to download mods through their stupid mod browser. paradox, your launcher is utterly useless and serves nothing but to add an extra click when launching the game. your mod platform is worse than steam workshop in every way, why did you have to change from CS1 which used workshop?

Now that it's clear that Iceflake Studios can deliver consistent updates and fixes for the game I can actually comment on the game. Before they became the devs behind the game, the game felt like a game in beta, it felt incomplete. Now it's really starting to feel like a fully fleshed out base game and I could not be more happy about the progress. Overall in the last year the quality of game play has significantly gone up. Before I wanted to recommend this game and now I think I can. That said the Bridges and Ports DLC was insanely expensive and I will be disappointed if new full sized DLCs are that price if the content in them is around the same amount as the Bridges and Ports DLC. The creator packs also feel a tiny bit more expensive then they should be but the building quality is really high and the packs deliver a lot of content so I'm willing to buy them still.

Community team has shown racist attitudes toward Turkish players. I cannot support a game when its community team treats people this way. I’m done with Hearts of Iron and all Paradox games.

почитав отзывы и посмотрев видосы на ютубе, как у людей на топовых системах игра выдаёт жалкие 40 кадров, мне стало плохо. да, у меня у самого-то, вроде не слабая система, но на пустой мапе, фпс в районе 70-80, с непонятными, секундными просадками до 40 сама-то игра несомненно классная, новые механики, графика. но оптимизация... она буквально не позволит играть, потому что, как я понял, после 300к населения - процессор вылезает из сокета и идёт набивать е6aло его владельцу оптимизируйте игру, разработчики :(
