Maybe it'll be surprising, but I enjoyed 1.5 a bit more than the original game. Yes, it's shorter and isn't that deep, but it was a consistently fun ride. Made me realize how much I ended up caring about the cast, so it's going to be pretty painful to hope for a continuation... (←no news since 2020)
Wie Teil 1 sehr empfehlenswert. Ich hoffe auf eine Fortsetzung und dass es Koiros Häschen-Sukajan irgendwann auch in echt zu kaufen gibt.
Chuusotsu 1.5th Graduation: The Moving Castle is just as much a moving object as it is an incomplete fortress.
Full review: https://www.keengamer.com/articles/reviews/pc-reviews/chuusotsu-1-5th-graduation-the-moving-castle-review/ Caressing and sweet, the writing prowess speaks to a collection of struggling artists trying to find their place in the world. Those looking for a specimen for optimism need not miss this. Unfortunately, as a sequel title, it fails to separate itself from its parent title, lazily borrowing the aspects of what made the original so appealing to provide a suitable crutch. It's enough of a substantive diversion to make it ultimately worthwhile, but the aura of an easy throwaway title will follow this vibrant sequel henceforth. + Writing is passionately optimistic and easy to root for + Monami is a great addition to build around + Voice acting is terrifically emotional - Re-uses a lot of visual/auditory elements from the parent series - Ending scenes feel rushed and overeager - Koiro and Arara have little to do
