Game is pretty damn good. Just need some polish and marketing, because the core is there and its a great marriage of Hearthstone and Magic the Gathering. I'm not really a fan of the 'cutesy' terminology rather than more standard terms ("Ashes" instead of Graveyard/Discard; "Story" instead of board), but you get over it pretty quick. As a side note, it is bizarre to see people be upset in the reviews crying that they can't buy cards. Capitalism has really warped some people's brains I guess.
I.. guess this is dead? I load in, get a a firewall access request by "Epic Games" [what happened to the Clarity games and WhisperGames listed as developer and publisher?], and then load into the game. The only options are Casual, Ranked, Bot, and Tutorial. Well... that's hugely underwhelming for the genre, especially for an all-cards-unlocked game. You'd think there'd at LEAST be a challenge mode, as there is in every other card game with substantial card access (and even most without), if not a proper PvE or tournament or team mode. But, whatever, it is what it is. I'm going to give the game the benefit of the doubt, give the tutorial a try, and consider it fairly. ...but wait, what's this? Server connection attempts.. and timeouts.. for a tutorial? Uh. Yeah, okay. :keeps trying: :and trying: Well, that's not working. Maybe bot match'll work? .... nope. Well, I guess that's that, then? Honestly, the gameplay could be fantastic, but the lack of gameplay options and lack of proper server stability would alone be enough to fully cripple this game's appeal. As such, there's just no need to hesitate in giving the game a downvote, despite not having actually made it to the gameplay. Because, after all, if you remove a feature (ie, unlocking cards- and just a reminder, there's ways to include that without having to make it pay-to-play/win- such as, for example, by having them unlockable through limited drafts using in-game currency and then having all cards freely unlocked after a season) then you really need to add more to your game, not less; And certainly not less ability to play, both as it relates to the mode variety standard to the genre and to actually being able to load into a match (and, really, out of everything, how do you manage to mess up offering access to a tutorial?) It's a real pity, since there's so few games in the genre releasing of late, and so many older ones that've closed up.. Guess I'll have to hope for better on the next offering in the genre.. ..and until then I guess I'll have to keep limiting my scratching that card game itch through the ever expanding genre of single-player card-based roguelites and rpgs. Which, I mean, those aren't bad either. And those games, being fully run on your local machine, always let you actually play them. So, y'know, *that's* nice.

游戏不错,就是匹配不到人,能不能做一个单人战役啥的,还能顺路讲个故事,不过这样也能玩26小时。我也有够无聊了
Hello. I am currently the best Chroma: Bloom and Blight player in the world. The meta has been figured out and is stale. It took very little time. Additionally, the game needs sound design and screen movement because it barely feels like you are playing. (and friends playing needs fixed). Not a bad random play though
Warning: In-Game Cash Shop This game is infested with a toxic mobile app style cash shop. You will be prompted to and expected to give money/credit card details to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game cosmetic and other goods so you can play the game.
"Chroma: Bloom And Blight" is a cash shop infested "I Can't Believe It's Not A Mobile App" CCG/Hearthstone/MTG ripoff. It's dead, no players, and it's a little academic as to what scared off gamers. I'd probably say the two pronged non-free nature of the game and just general quality not meeting the much stiffer and more professional competition. At least there's no P2W elements. What's the game about? Chroma: Bloom And Blight is a free-to-play competitive card game. Set in the world of Arholt, players choose a hero, build a deck using freely available cards, and engage in turn-based matches against opponents. The gameplay involves managing resources and utilizing hero abilities across a three-act match structure, offering a familiar experience within the digital card game format. According to the developer, anyway. In reality, it's unplayable because there's no players. The visuals get a pass, I guess, I mean... looks about the same as MTG/Hearthstone to me. So, not winning any awards and not any reason to get this (remember how gaming is a visual medium?) As mentioned, this isn't really free as the game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Chroma: Bloom and Blight, Arholt'un hikaye açısından zengin topraklarında geçen, oynaması tamamen ücretsiz, rekabetçi bir kart oyunudur.
Just love Baumi
hello im the second best chroma bloom and blight player in the world, unfortunately the game has been completely solved so better luck next time dev team :) additionally the sound effects are very poor and i really wish that the friends vs friends feature worked but thankfully theres only two people who play this game (me and the best player in the world) so we could just queue into eachother if you want to play it as a puzzle to figure out its not bad
