The game is fun, but there are some annoying glitches (that don't affect game playability). The glitches are: - When you first start the game, it appears to copy saves from Christmas Puzzle 1, and immediately gives you all but 3 achievements upon completing the tutorial/first level. - In addition, it says that you've completed all levels, at the star level you completed the corresponding level in the first game. - In order to start the game fresh, and work through the levels in order, logging your progress, you will have to start a new player profile. But the only achievements you will be able to earn normally are the achievements for completing level 1, 2 and 3 (as the others all automatically unlock). - When playing through the levels for the first time, they will show no stars. To get stars to appear next to the levels, you will have to play each level at least twice. Other than these annoying things, the game works fine and is as enjoyable as the first,
Es ist ein Spiel wie es schon viele dieser Art gibt, aber wenn man es angefangen hat kann man nicht mehr aufhören
Christmas puzzle 2? Thats 2 too many already.

Fun game. Keeps you on your toes
Compared to Christmas Puzzle 1, it's better in every way. No more huge layouts, some levels have a few different powerups that spawn from the top. You also have some passively generating power-ups, a bomb and fireworks that shoot in all 4 directions. If you want to get more of them for later levels, just leave the game open with a random level and they will generate over time. ^^ But, I still find this game too clumsy, and not very exciting to play. It still has level clearing issues. Especially when you need to make matches in obscure or hardly accessible areas. Sometimes the only way to destroy a tile is to use your precious power-ups. And if you don't have any of them at your disposal - you can spend quite a few minutes without any progress. Interestingly enough. When I first launched the game - it already had half of the levels complete. Even several achievements popped at the same time. Strange. It's a playable match 3 game, but there is no joy to be found here also. Still a lackluster experience as in the first game.
Christmas Puzzle 2 is a cozy, unabashedly festive entry in the casual puzzle space that understands exactly what it wants to deliver: relaxed, approachable match-3 gameplay wrapped in warm holiday charm. Developed and published by Notus Games Ltd, the game builds on familiar mechanics rather than attempting reinvention, focusing instead on comfort, consistency, and a cheerful seasonal atmosphere. It’s the kind of title designed to be enjoyed in short, satisfying sessions, offering a gentle mental workout without ever becoming stressful or demanding. At its core, the gameplay follows the classic match-3 formula that will be immediately recognizable to anyone who has spent time with the genre. Players swap adjacent tiles to form lines of three or more matching symbols, clearing them from the board and working toward level-specific goals. What keeps the experience engaging is the steady introduction of variations and obstacles that encourage players to think ahead rather than rely solely on random matching. Larger combinations trigger power-ups and chain reactions, delivering those small but satisfying moments of visual and mechanical payoff that define the appeal of match-3 games. The game’s strongest asset is its presentation. Christmas Puzzle 2 leans fully into its holiday theme, with snowy landscapes, festive decorations, and whimsical winter settings that give each batch of levels a distinct visual identity. From cozy mills and frosty villages to playful Arctic scenes populated by penguins, the environments are colorful and inviting without becoming visually overwhelming. The accompanying music and sound effects reinforce this mood, creating a light, cheerful backdrop that complements the relaxed pacing of play and makes the game feel especially fitting during the winter season. Progression is structured in a way that keeps the experience accessible while still offering a sense of accomplishment. With dozens of levels available, players are gradually introduced to new mechanics, special tiles, and board layouts that add complexity without sharply spiking difficulty. Collectible elements such as stars and in-level rewards encourage replay for better scores, appealing to completionists who enjoy refining their performance. The overall difficulty curve remains forgiving, ensuring that frustration rarely overshadows enjoyment. One of the more thoughtful design choices is the inclusion of different play modes. Players can opt for a relaxed experience that removes time pressure entirely, allowing them to focus purely on strategy and enjoyment. Alternatively, timed modes introduce a mild sense of urgency for those who prefer a bit more excitement and challenge. This flexibility broadens the game’s appeal, making it suitable both for casual players seeking stress-free entertainment and for those who enjoy pushing themselves within familiar mechanics. While Christmas Puzzle 2 does not attempt to innovate beyond its genre conventions, it succeeds by delivering exactly what it promises. The visuals are polished, the mechanics are dependable, and the overall tone is consistently pleasant. It’s not a game meant to be played endlessly or dissected for strategic depth, but rather one designed to provide comfort, familiarity, and small bursts of satisfaction. Its modest scope works in its favor, avoiding feature bloat and keeping the focus on smooth, enjoyable play. Ultimately, Christmas Puzzle 2 stands as a solid example of a seasonal casual game done right. It respects the player’s time, offers a generous amount of content for its style, and maintains a welcoming atmosphere from start to finish. For fans of match-3 puzzles, holiday-themed games, or simply anyone looking for a relaxing diversion with a festive flavor, it delivers a warm and reliable experience that feels like slipping into a favorite seasonal tradition rather than tackling a demanding challenge.
