AI slop where there used to be thoughtful stories, there is now only soulless AI-generated slop with no real substance. it's so sad to see the decline of an app that was supposed to care about impactful storytelling. every new book is homogeneous, bland, vapid, and beyond boring because pixelberry is more focused on generating revenue for shareholders than crafting a quality interactive story for players. the characters don't have personalities anymore, the stories are overly predictable, the dialogue is heinously bad, and the art department is nonexistent. heartbreaking to see this app devolve into trash.

Great Until AI I really liked this app, so much so that I was willing to overlook when the plots of certain books came a little to close to popular shows or books. However I cannot, especially in this water crisis, continue to support and use an app that uses generative AI knowing how much it’s destroying our environment. I urge everyone to looks into the implications of AI and ask yourself if you can support an app and company that use it in every day workflow.

I loved the old app, but the AI now is atrocious. I used to be obsessed with choices. I still enjoy the old stories. Now… I cannot stand the turn to AI. It makes me want to claw my eyes out and vomit from their sockets every time I look at the soulless AI everything that's taken over Choices lately. I hate to be this way, but I'm just so disappointed. Choices IS art. Along with the writing and sprites and background… everything should be HUMAN made. How long until then writing is just as soulless as the art? Please fix this. I really want to continue to like this app.

Overpriced Ridiculous how you have to pay so much just to unlock ONE scene. Not even enjoyable at that point. And you BARELY get any gems to start with let alone when you join the game daily. BEYOND ridiculous. 💀

AI Garbage I’ve been an artist and a writer all my life and used to love what the team at Choices created. I’ve supported this app loudly since the day it came out. If you’re switching to anti human AI garbage to finish stories that real people once put their hearts and souls into, I don’t even have words to describe my disappointment. I know you won’t care about this review because you care more about the money now. But I am about as heartbroken as a person can be.

What Happened to This App? I’ve had this app for YEARS and have rarely ever had a complaint. The stories have gotten better and better as time has gone by. But what has gotten absolutely ridiculous is the need for diamond choices with almost every decision! I can’t afford this anymore. Why am I paying $15 a month if I’m still spending money on this app. It makes no sense! Once I completely run out of diamonds, I’m deleting this app. This is no longer affordable, which makes this no longer fun to play.

Cash Grab The stories are amazing, but the amount of diamonds you need to get good choices is INSANE. It’s horrible. And you don’t even get that many from completing chapters or doing those small quests. It’s pathetic that you need VIP for an outrageous FIFTEEN DOLLARS A MONTH just to get TWO more diamonds for each chapter. Absolutely horrible.

AI ruins everything This app was one of my favorites! I have been playing since 2017 and a VIP member since 2020, it was the perfect app and the stories were so entertaining and interesting compared to every other storytelling app so much so that it kept me coming back. I have not played in about a month, I reopened the app excited to see updates in stories like Hero and It Lives Within ONLY TO BE TAKEN TO ANOTHER PLATFORM of mini series video shorts?! Which completely takes away from the experience with choice based stories :( The AI art style and voice work was the final nail in the coffin…after almost 10 years I have uninstalled Choices and fear that I may never find anything like what it was when I first started playing the stories :( AI SUCKS!
