Choices: Stories You Play

Unplayable I played for 9 years and loved the earlier stories. I hung in there when books got shorter and plot lines got messier, but it’s past the point I can tolerate. Even the supposedly traditional newer books reek of AI slop with plot holes and repetitive dialogue. I wish this were still a human-driven company bursting with dedicated and creative staff, but the layoffs and money grab have made it a shell of its former glory. Cancelled my VIP and no longer play.

Disappointed Choices has faced a rapid decline after beginning the use of Ai, we can see it in the horrible face models, awful character lines, and blurry backgrounds. I would once come back to this app every two hours to use my next key, now i find myself deleted the app as soon as I install it, always hoping it’s gotten better. You’d think after introducing VIP there’d be an incentive and profit for producing better material yet everything pre VIP is far superior to the slop that is made now. To anyone wanting to buy VIP, save your money don’t pay for negligence, sincerely someone that’s read more than 1000 chapters.

OG fan - nervous about where things are headed I have been using this app since fall 2016, and never even deleted it once. It’s been a magical journey to have the inclusivity and respect come to life in detailed and creative interactive stories! Truly a five star app, and I would argue has been putting out bangers through April of this year. I do NOT like what you have done with trying to get your loyal fan base, paying people like myself, to crossover to another app that has no appeal to us. We’re here for visual novels. For every six weeks that you guys keep trying to get us over to a new app, I will be lowering my rating by one star. Please fix this.

Loved I played and paid for years and stopped because the art style was beginning to look hideous. I recently came back after finding about a sequel to one of my favorite stories but all of the stories still have this same hideous ai art style if I could get my money back I would.

AI is not real art i’m in some choices spaces online and everyone is upset and discussing deleting the app for good, due to the rampant AI usage. if you can’t be bothered to make the art yourself, or even write the scenes yourself, why should we care about anything you put out?

Extended loading Let me start by saying I love Choices. I have been playing it for seven years; I love the characters, the story concepts, everything. But lately I’ve noticed that the app is taking longer to load. I don’t know if it’s the app itself or what, but if it is then please fix it so I can get back to enjoying it again

Brown skin It’s sad that the brown skin characters in a lot of these new books are almost as light as the other characters. Please do better with the diversity.

Sad how far we’ve fallen What was once a really fun batch of stories made with a lot of heart has been replaced with absolute AI slop that looks bad, is badly written, and has no actual human feeling to it. Real shame what happened here.

Cash Grab The stories are amazing, but the amount of diamonds you need to get good choices is INSANE. It’s horrible. And you don’t even get that many from completing chapters or doing those small quests. It’s pathetic that you need VIP for an outrageous FIFTEEN DOLLARS A MONTH just to get TWO more diamonds for each chapter. Absolutely horrible.

Awful experience Completely AI not and the company silences the people who disagree with the app. Do not think it’s worth it
