Awful experience Completely AI not and the company silences the people who disagree with the app. Do not think it’s worth it

AI Garbage I’ve been an artist and a writer all my life and used to love what the team at Choices created. I’ve supported this app loudly since the day it came out. If you’re switching to anti human AI garbage to finish stories that real people once put their hearts and souls into, I don’t even have words to describe my disappointment. I know you won’t care about this review because you care more about the money now. But I am about as heartbroken as a person can be.

Unplayable I played for 9 years and loved the earlier stories. I hung in there when books got shorter and plot lines got messier, but it’s past the point I can tolerate. Even the supposedly traditional newer books reek of AI slop with plot holes and repetitive dialogue. I wish this were still a human-driven company bursting with dedicated and creative staff, but the layoffs and money grab have made it a shell of its former glory. Cancelled my VIP and no longer play.

Used to be Peak, Now overrun by AI slop The original stories like The Freshman, The Royal Romance…etc were so good at making the readers feel immersed into the stories. Every single book in the last 6 months have been AI slop. No meaning to any of the “choices” you make and have even more useless diamond actions. This is blatant money grabbing and laziness on behalf of the devs. I don’t know whether there was a change within the team. On a particular survey, I mentioned I would have loved a sequel of The Hero solo book, and what I saw was a 100% AI video slop link to another website. I am thoroughly disappointed.

Miss the old days I’ve been playing this game for years back, and while I love most of the stories — I can’t say I’m crazy about these latest round of stories. I preferred the older illustration in the mc and love interests. They were unique and didn’t have that weird, creepy smile or deadpan stare. It reminds me of Disney characters, like it's off putting to me. The art is great, don't get me wrong, it's just becoming too "realistic" in a sense. And while I enjoy the “smut” stories, I don’t want them to be the main focus in the plot. Like yes, it’s great but there’s more to the story than that. And it’s done at the most inappropriate time. Looking at you - Unbridled!

They use Ai STOP USING AI IT SUCKS

AI ruins everything This app was one of my favorites! I have been playing since 2017 and a VIP member since 2020, it was the perfect app and the stories were so entertaining and interesting compared to every other storytelling app so much so that it kept me coming back. I have not played in about a month, I reopened the app excited to see updates in stories like Hero and It Lives Within ONLY TO BE TAKEN TO ANOTHER PLATFORM of mini series video shorts?! Which completely takes away from the experience with choice based stories :( The AI art style and voice work was the final nail in the coffin…after almost 10 years I have uninstalled Choices and fear that I may never find anything like what it was when I first started playing the stories :( AI SUCKS!

AI is not real art i’m in some choices spaces online and everyone is upset and discussing deleting the app for good, due to the rampant AI usage. if you can’t be bothered to make the art yourself, or even write the scenes yourself, why should we care about anything you put out?

AI slop where there used to be thoughtful stories, there is now only soulless AI-generated slop with no real substance. it's so sad to see the decline of an app that was supposed to care about impactful storytelling. every new book is homogeneous, bland, vapid, and beyond boring because pixelberry is more focused on generating revenue for shareholders than crafting a quality interactive story for players. the characters don't have personalities anymore, the stories are overly predictable, the dialogue is heinously bad, and the art department is nonexistent. heartbreaking to see this app devolve into trash.

DELETE! The gems and keys system is intolerable. One story that I could barely finish was enough for me to see what this app is really like. I’M DONE!
