About
A listless struggle flits across the borders of change and desire. It brings a smell — noxious, fresh and foul. You can feel it, can’t you? Something more than the wind.
The phone is ringing again. The message hasn't changed:
Find out what happened to the moths.

Chiaroscuro Imago is a short, sweet, literary horror game inspired by ancient poetry, the works of David Lynch, and the occult. Trudge blearily across the nameless byway, confabulate whenever possible, and uncover what lies behind closed doors.
It may be completed in one sitting; there is only one ending.
Please play in an unlit room.
Portents of uncertainty and dread in an unlovely world.
Honeyed words exchanged with an eclectic cast of slippery origin.
A bonus folder lined with interesting minutiae about the game’s development.
An experience that will follow you to bed.

very nice
Sometimes you can tell a creator decided to be uncompromising in their vision and create exactly what they intended, and it's fantastic to see it land.
This game's strength is the writing - it's brutally confident in what it is: an intentionally archaic and nightmare-like or dream-like short (very short) story. It's metaphorical? Maybe. It's really hard to parse, but the atmosphere it creates is phenomenal. If you jive with writing that doesn't care to ease you into things and believes in itself a lot, you're going to love this. I do, and I did.
hehe, I really liked this
i don't know what that was but it seems pretty cool i think
