I wanted to like this game. The narrative seemed like it was going to be intriguing, and there were quite a few dialogue options. But ultimately none of it seemed to go anywhere and it none of my choices seemed to make any actual difference. The general idea of Sisyphus / repetition (like a Groundhog's Day) seemed fun, but it really just fizzled out and didn't seem to go anywhere. And the narration was the only "gameplay" in this game, so the fact that it didn't do much kind of made it pointless. That's how I feel. If you're someone who likes to play out (to a very limited extent) a philosophical idea - with no other gameplay - then maybe you'll enjoy this a lot more than I did. But for me, it was just a letdown. I also say this after playing the developer's other game, "Do You Have a Moment To Talk About Our Lord and Savior". That game was a bit weaker on narrative (though I'd say it was a bit more intriguing), but it had some really strong gameplay in its card game. It was difficult and had a steep learning curve, but it was worth your time for sure (in my opinion). So I think I expected more from this game, but for me it just didn't deliver. One thing I will say: I was impressed with the voice acting and sound design. Each voice seemed quite appropriate, especially the radio personality's voice, and the voice of the main lady. She had such an odd and interesting rhythm - it was quirky without being overdone, which really seemed to fit the overall setting.

夜の森で車が故障し、助けを求め古い家にたどり着く……ローポリ短編ホラー。 クリアまで30分程度。不気味な雰囲気、笑える実績、気の利いたオチと満足感が高かったです。
Interesting concept that I found myself wondering several hours after we stopped playing it if there was more we could have found and that speaks a lot for it.
amazing experience
Cherophobia is a short experimental game with a very interesting concept. Unfortunately this concept is not as explored as it could / should be, but it's still an interesting experience. And it gets really unnerving at somepoints.
10/10 εκτός απο το τέλος, ήταν λίγο απότομο.........κατά τα άλλα πολύ creepy :) Kroko approves :)
Only two words come to my mind: Pretentious garbage. No redeeming qualities to speak of. A waste of time, I regret buying it despite it costing next to nothing on discount.
I really do not like the term "experimental" for this game because there is really nothing "experimental" about it. Here is what this game is: They made a game with about 5 minutes of content, and then they make you play it over and over again until you realize that it is never going to change. (Because that is just like the myth of Sisyphus, mannnnn..!) and they make it so that there is no way to quit or end the game. (again, because that is just like the myth of Sisyphus, mannnnn..!) It is not experimental. It's a lazy homage to a simple idea, executed using AI-generated voices and low-rent PS1 graphics. It is fair enough to spin the camera back at the player and ask them if there is any point in what they are doing. Better games have done that. But you have to make the effort first. You have to make the game first. "Experimental" should not be a shorthand for a proof of concept. This is not even a demo. This is a neat little project that would get you a good grade in your second year of game development classes, but in my opinion it should not be sold for money.
Lo disfruté. Esa atmósfera que crea el juego me mantuvo de nervios todo el tiempo, esperando que algo inesperado sucediera. Conforme más jugaba más confusión me generó. Me encanta!!!
Um jogo bom, consideravelmente experimental, que consiste no jogador em um constante loop
