Cheaphaven

An absolute sleeper, criminally underrated. For any fan of SurvivalCraft style games, this is a great lite version. If this ever found it's way to an app store, the creator would be rolling in dough.

I see game with tail wiggle supreme, I buy game with tail wiggle supreme. Really adorable little game to play on the side. Takes a bit getting used to with how things are running and how skill points work, but once you get into it, it's a very relaxing game with an amazing sense of humor. So. Cute.

TAIL WIGGLE PHYSICS! Those absolutely sold me! Beyond the trailer meme, this game is relaxing, calm and I enjoyed it. A few things were not quite clear, but that might've been me paying not enough attention. For the game play, I wished the farmed items would not just orbit around the player, tho standing still while farming, or running far way with orbiting items solves that. 8/10, recommended. Not as much depth as other games, but for the price and the tail wiggle physics I couldn't ask for more.

A lot of farming and life sim games get really grindy or have few actual objectives so you're left wandering around trying to figure out what to do, but Cheaphaven keeps the adorable lil lizard on track with goals, upgrades, quests, etc. It's very relaxing, the animations are adorable, and it's a pleasant game from start to finish.

It depends how you put it, it does have scuffed visuals but it is fun. The hunger system has no punishment or some consequence for the stamina. Very quirky, in terms of the narration, no typos as far as I can see, which is impressive for a very small game (community and dev team wise) released this year. I had no clue there was a demo for Cheaphaven so upon buying it I was scared if it would be terrible. As a survival craft kind of person it seemed to intrigue me. I've enjoyed it so far. The price is pretty good for how much time you can spend fooling around. With a lot of short games these days being overpriced, Cheaphaven will last you a while.

It's like if Geico made animal crossing and it was open world! You play as this cute little gecko what more to say than i love it! 10/10
