I'm going to be honest. I bought this based solely on the lizard's run animation. I have not seen a run animation this good since The Real Texas. What took me by surprise though was how solid this game is. Its streamlined nature means it lacks most of the "thousand cuts" you die from in other farming games. It has only what you need and want, which is a good gameplay loop. Your character automatically picks up things. When you harvest crops, if you have the same type of seeds equipped and selected, they will automatically be planted. Think standing and fishing is lame? No problem, wee lizard sits. You can disassemble everything and move it around without losing any materials in the process. The lizard can jump! Items can be stacked, you can make a crate fort if you want. Although there is daily rent and an active clock, the rent amount is so low, there's no pressure to do anything you're not in the mood for. If you just want to fish or reorganise your farm, you can without feeling like you "wasted" the day. There are tons of little quality of life things that make this really enjoyable to play. Or you could just buy it for the run animation too.

Когда съедаем рыбу, то он повышается минимально один почему-то раз. Если сытость становится ноль, то ничего не происходит. Вообще, с едой тут беда, особенно на ранней стадии развития. Так что может и хорошо, что индикатор ломаный. - Некоторые тексты вылезают за пределы экрана и приходится догадываться что там написано. - Плохой менеджмент инвентаря. 구입하기에 망설여지시나요? 이 게임은 스팀 소개 영상과 이미지에 있는게 다입니다. 다른 생존, 농사 게임들처럼 엄청난 연구트리와 스킬, 건물들로 가득한 게임이 아닙니다. 가볍게 즐기는 게임입니다. 그런데 왜 이 게임을 샀냐구요? 게임 영상에서 뛰어다니는 저 생명체가 귀여워서 샀습니다 ㅠㅠ 파닥파닥 뛰어다니고 마치 안아달라는 듯이 점프하고 도구 휘두를때는 하찮은데 귀엽고... 그래서 다른 게임에 비해 볼륨이 적지만 힐링하는 느낌으로 플레이 했습니다. 하지만 이 게임은 아직 버그가 조금 있습니다. 인벤토리 창에서 마우스를 움직여도 인식을 안해서 키보드로 움직여야하거나 뒷동산에서 내려오는길에 멈춰서 키가 안먹는다거나 하지만 다시 껐다 켜니 고쳐졌습니다. (저장은 잘때만 됨 ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 하루 날림) * 기초 팁 나무와 시럽돌은 한번만 수확 후 두면 다시 자라납니다. 그래서 여러개 심어 놓으면 다시 심는 것보다 편합니다. 마을 첫 상점에 슈퍼 밀씨앗이 있는데 한번 심으면 계속 수확할 수 있으므로 초반 구입 추천드립니다. 낚시가 오래걸리고 귀찮다 -> 스킬에서 잘잡히는거 있는데 한번만 찍어도 빠르게 잡히며, 나중에 어항 만들고 거기에 물고기 어느정도 넣어놓으면 잘 번식합니다. 참고하실 분들 플레이 영상입니다. https://youtu.be/1No2gRJ_02Y

honestly, first look you'd think it's just another farming/building sim but I think this one has a very unique charm to it (the lizard character is 100% what caught my attention first) tail wiggle physics are A+ and generally the idle and walking animation of the lizard is just delightful 💚 and not gonna lie, I think the fact that it has an end goal and isn't a 2000+ hrs farming sim makes it all the more interesting to me, I just like clearly defined goals 🤷‍♂️ and haven't encountered anything game breaking yet either~

Very simple, right to the point, just a great smooth running little game. No bugs or anything yet, all around pretty fun and calming, just as advertised.

This game looked rather interesting but i have to say after playing it i was disappointed. The character you are moves slower than slow, the dev does not seem to answer any questions or problems in the forums from the players, it looks like a cheap asset

Fun, simple game with cute graphics and funny dialogue. I particularly loved that when I used the transparent skin, my shadow disappeared

🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎/10 only two parts were annoying - no audio cue when fish bites + the bite indicator is sometimes hidden behind drop popups/text - since you can't turn the camera, trees block the view what's behind them otherwise great game especially for that price

Comfy game! Cheaphaven is a cute, low-stakes, very solid farming sim that doesn't ask for a lot of your time (or money) and that doesn't take itself too seriously. Just play as a very lovely l'il lizardy fella and plant some plants, harvest some harvests, pet some pets, and money some moneys for 8-12 hours. Or more, depending on how you like to play! Progression is well-paced, and there's a good bit of depth - but not too much, and you don't have to engage with every aspect of it if you'd rather not.
