About
You've inherited an old and mysterious vineyard, and with it, a cellar. As the new keeper of the family legacy, it's up to you to bring order to the chaos and restore the collection to its former glory.

There are 1,600 bottles, each waiting for your touch. Every bottle has its own place, a specific section, from a specific country.
Each bottle also belongs to one of 5 categories that reflect its age and rarity, from common to legendary: Bronze, Silver, Sapphire, Gold, and Ruby. Ruby being the oldest and most precious of all.

You’re not alone in this mission. You’ll have the aid of an old notebook kept by the previous keeper, recording the correct placement for bottles from Italy, France, Argentina, and Spain.
You’ll also carry a wooden organizer, letting you hold bottles and check their category at a glance.

Visual Satisfaction: Watch empty shelves fill with color and order. Every bottle placed correctly is a small, deeply rewarding click into place, a growing collection that feels as good to look at as it does to build.
Immersive Atmosphere: Rain taps softly against tall windows. The château breathes with quiet history, alive in every creak and shadow.
Cozy Mood: Gentle music, warm lighting, and the slow, meditative rhythm of sorting invite you to unwind. There’s no rush here, just you, the bottles, and the soft patter of rain.

As you advance, you’ll unlock new abilities to aid your work:
Insight: Reveal all bottles belonging to the same category.
Prediction: See exactly where a bottle belongs on the shelf.
Château Pluie was inspired by my fiancée and the games she enjoys most. I developed this game on my own through a journey filled with challenges and small victories. Thanks to her and my sister, who supported me throughout the entire process, I was able to finish and release it.

I’m the developer’s fiancée and I’ve been able to play Château Pluie closely throughout its entire development. 🤍 At first, I also felt like there was a huge amount of information and bottles to organize, but once I understood the system of colors, countries, hierarchy codes, and numbering, everything started to click. The idea isn’t to memorize the 1,600 bottles, but to discover the pattern that organizes them. The shelves are differentiated by country and color, while the codes indicate the wine’s hierarchy (for example, Sa = Sapphire, Br = Bronze), and each category has its bottles numbered from 1 to 10. For me, that’s exactly where the charm of the game lies: at the beginning you have to observe and think a little, but once you discover the system you start to quickly recognize where each bottle belongs, and it becomes much more intuitive and satisfying. 🍷 I think that learning curve is part of the experience. There’s a moment when you simply go, “Ahhh, now I get how it works!” ✨ Obviously, I have a very personal connection to this project, but I can also say I’ve seen up close all the work and dedication behind it. I’m incredibly happy to finally see it released and to be able to share it with you all. ❤️

I cannot recommend this game in its current state. The good thing, its REALLY atmospheric and immersive. I love the cellar, I found some plushies you could interact with, but not sure what they did. I actually like the music? Eventho the developer admits its AI generated, it fits the mood really well. The soft sound of rain is also really relaxing and a touch I really appreciated. From the very start the AI usage makes the game appear weird, the main menu has a good looking animated background, but then there is this ugly white box that is the main menu. The options itself for the main menu are scattered weirdly, I guess the intent is to make it look like a notebook? When you press new game and it starts to load, you once again see an out of place AI generated image. The text that is on top of it just feels very amateurish because its just a letter box with letters in it. You also see this in the screenshots where a bottle is selected. I think the intent is to make it represent a label, but it just comes across as a lazy tag that is kind of an eye-sore like the main menu. Then there is this weird purple ghost of a book when you enter the cellar, if I press F on it, nothing happens. And I have no idea what it is for. But its annoying to constantly see it. The bottles are all standing up just waiting for you to sort, also doesn't make any sense, I would rather have them all be in a pile. It adds to the weird feeling that the game gives you. The actual sorting is also very flawed. As seen in the screenshots, the bottles themselves are marked weirdly imo. "2. IT - BR - The wolf's secret", the 2 means its the second in the series, IT = Italy, BR=Bronze, and then obviously the name of the wine. The annoying part however is that there is no visual indication other then the notebook where these are to be placed, I found this to be a bit annoying as you constantly have to check the notebook and then count the shelves. You could have easily made a plaque or a little sign with the name or the flag of the country, and a medal next to it indicating what tier the shelf is. The plaque itself could have even been the tier, and then simply have the flag of the country on that plaque. I don't understand the decision to have it only visible on the notebook. The next part kind of just made me quit al together. Each bottle has a predetermined place, usually you can place the stuff on any part of the shelf, as long as it is in the right order, but in this game you also need to find the right plank. For example, I have 9. SP - BR - Legend of the wolf, I look on the notepad and I see the spanish shelves for the bronze tier, I then have to place it on the ninth spot, on the third plank on the shelf, if I place it on the first, second, or fourth plank, it doesn't count. So for every first bottle you place, you have to constantly find the right spot, that gets tedious, when you have to do this 159 times, especially as the animation is rather slow to place a bottle. These are all little mistakes, but put them al together, and it ends up being a product I can't really recommend, not now there are plenty of other Tidy-up games out there (and coming out!!), a few days ago another wine based tidy-up game came out, and it was just much better then this one. I am unsure that if or when the developer fixes these issues, if this game would be worth it, I will leave that up to the developer and someone else to decide.
1) Game is full of ai slop. 2) Tutorial is very confusing. Even, if I found the exact shelf, I couldn't figure out, which spot is correct one for my bottle. 3) If you place and pick up bottle, a different one from your basket is selected, so it's confusing and not easy to select the same bottle. 4) The UI was quickly slapped together and is very confusing. Bottle list takes a lot of screen space and is bothering during gameplay. I would say, the game was done quickly, as the sorting/cleaning games are popular. Maybe the future updates can help, but at the current state I can't recommend it. Feel free to skip this one or get Cellar Keeper if you want to sort some wine.
confusing tutorial, it should leave the controls onscreen somehow. Tells me to look at the clock for playtime .. what clock? And there s no tutorial / explanation of how to place in order! I know nothing about wine and I think even if I did I still wouldn't understand. Positives, I didn't' see any bugs so game runs fine with lots of setting options. Rain and sounds are nice. I don't know about the AI radio O.O wait positives. Looks nice! Glad he had fun making this for his fiancée and I hope she enjoys it! I hope if you actually know about wine you also enjoy this and it isn't just because I am ignorant of this hobby. I hope that I get my refund because I have noi idea what I am doing EVEN with the notebook map thing, which I also do not understand like what the heck is bronze and silbver and why is it "SPAIN" on the map but "Espanol" on the bottles? Yet Argentina loks normal. so confused!
[strike] It is a good game, but it's so bugged with the bottles disappearing. I have 2 bottles left i need, but somehow it duplicated bottles already placed correctly and vanished the ones I actually need to complete the game, so i can't get the ending i was going for. [/strike] Update: Game was fixed thanks to devs quick response. Now that that is taken care of I highly recommend everyone tries this game, it's really cozy to sit with and there are secret stuff to find along the way. Hope to see more from this wonderful dev <3
Very enjoyable game. As a fan of wine; the organization method is a bit different from what i would consider typical. But once you shift your perspective away from that it has a good categorization system thats easy to get a hang of. My only recommendation of something to change would be having the crate the wine goes into follow the camera instead of being in a fixed position relative to the character. It would make seeing which bottles are in there visually a bit easier and cause less motion sickness. The AI generation of some parts is a bit sad but entirely understandable for a project such as this and for its main intention. Obviously if it was actual real world bottles and producers it would be so much better but that would be very difficult getting the rights from all the producers to use them and would require mor prior wine knowledge to sort bottles. Going against the developers intentions. All in all i really enjoy the game and would recommend it to any fans of wine out there who want a game they can spend some time relaxing with.
IT HAS SOME CHARM. Even though the graphics were a little uninviting and the inaccurate cursor selection/placement would piss me off with picking up the wrong bottle especially during the Against the Clock achievement, this game has some charm. Achievement hunting for this game is more detailed than some tidying game which is nice and offers some challenge! If you like tidying with a puzzlingly twist, you're going to appreciate this game simplicity approach to that. I like how when the game came out the developer took feedback and implemented systems for players which is ALWAYS a great sign in my book. If the developer were to make another game, I'd definitely play it considering they probably learned a lot making this game and will apply those skills to a future game.
It's not a bad game. It was satisfying to sort it all. I only have like one thing that confuses me. It's the achievements. I love collecting them but I'm a little stumped. I get what I have to do but at the same time.. I don't? I'm only missing three hidden achievements: A Job Half Done (do I have to actually do half of the cellar correctly and half incorrectly?), Together, but Lost (what is considered a bottle family?? qwq The colors or the names?), All Paths (this one is obvious) and Against the Clock (what time limit????? that one confuses me the most). I'm probably just overthinking it but besides that it was a satisfiying game and it was fun finding the little dolls and coins. 6/10 (also sad that AI was used, I would have totally drawn the labels for you haha)
I have played a few of the games in this genre, definitely one of the better ones I have experienced. Interested to see how it develops.
