Chasing Sunsets is one of the best adult visual novels of all time. Leap of Faith and Chasing Sunsets truly do deserve a higher place than most. And it goes the extra step in developing real world styled characters and conflicts. If you are interested to check it out the genre, this is one of the best to check out. If you ACTUALLY care about writing in a VN.

Beautiful renders, gorgeous women, and a ton of branching paths to explore if you’re aiming for 100% completion. I’ll admit, the story nearly lost me halfway through with all the corporate politics and stuff, but it's still engaging enough. There are also many cameos from other AVNs throughout the game. Clearly, the developer has friends!

Pretty tedious for me, 7 hours in, a lot of chat and not much else, few choices, few scenes and a lot of railroaded dialogue...

Chasing Sunsets is a well-written, beautifully produced AVN that is right up there with Leap of Faith and Artemis, two of my favorite AVNs. But I wouldn't have spent 18 hours reading this novel if I knew I'd end up with the Crash and Burned ending! All that time, making choices which I thought would make the story more entertaining only led to the worst possible ending - no romance and a final chapter with almost nothing but courtroom politics. It's an AVN for goodness sake! I expect to see some booty! Look, I'm not against there being a path that leads to an ending where you lose the romance options and end up single, but that should be left for completionists and achievement hunters, not the result of just reading the book casually and ignoring the gamey "points" system. Of course I'm going to vote the game down - I was just dumped by both Jaye and Mallory on the same day!

Incredible story, amazing characters, amazing gameplay. I ended up with the Jaye ending, even though my points with both Jaye and Mal were very high. To all the losers complaining about bad endings, yall must be rotten humans from the start. Both girls were amazing and I wish I could have both of them. I jumped in the ocean to save Jaye and fought a merc assassin for Mal. Want good ending? Behave like a person who cares.

If you like AVNs, this is a good one for sure as far as quality and characters. It looks good and has good backing music that sets the mood. The mood to .. FAAAAP. ... ... . HOWEVER, its not without its negatives. First, WHERE IS THE LISA PATH? or any others for that matter... I don't care about them though, I care about LISA. THE HOTTEST CHARACTER IN THE GAME. BY FAR. HANDS DOWN. And, might I add, NOT INCEST (like the only two actual paths). honestly, There is side hookups, but they are one scene and thats it. Thats the biggest problem, you have the illusion of choice, but you have, like the Robert frost poem at the end, two choices. And the you can go solo.. Or a ending with a quick montage of all the characters you wanted to explore and couldn't. And its a missed opportunity if you ask me. Other than the heavy incest (but not technically and then the other technically is... You'll understand) and the weird situation and condoning incest all over like people are shedding tears left and right Saying ”its beautiful”. No. No its not. They'd be saying what the actual ♥♥♥♥ is wrong with you, or you're under arrest.. You have several LI that would be better. More that you can't than you can that I would rather. Amanda, Bianca, and LISA. FOR ♥♥♥♥♥ SAKE, CANT A GUY CATCH A BREAK AND FAP TO LISA? Listen to me and listen well, i would drag my balls down a mountain of broken glass and razor blades if it meant a real life Lisa would suffocate me with her butt cheeks. I am not a proud man, Mr Dev, this one has a ton of potential it missed out on. But its still one of the better titles. So I'm looking forward to the next sequel... which, I'm hoping let's you choose the character you have introduced. Seriously, if this had paths for all LI and separate endings, not the same thing and tweaked... Come on... It would be number one. Its doesn't have that annoying repetitive recycled douche American pie vibe song on repeat like most others that make me wanna hang it up, anyway.. I didn't want to have to raise my internet voice like that... So I'm sorry, not for what I said, just... Just how I said it. Im stern.... Yes.... Stern but fair. Just don't do it again. That was a 6.. When I get to a 10, my internet voice will be really, really loud. Nobody wants that. So many capital letters...

Beautiful, clear renders. Engaging characters and compelling story with strong feels. One of my favorite AVNs so far.

I've played my fair share of these games/novels, and I gotta say this one is in my top 3 - eventho this is my first time writing a review. Story wise this is up there with LoF, the animation of the lewd scenes aint top tier but how this studio choose to do them makes me feel like this is how it should be done. Your choices matter to a degree, i'm only doing one playthrough so I wouldn't really know, the characters are well done and the one you play ain't a total dimwit for once. The ending of the game left me in goosebumps, looking forward to see what this studio comes up with next.
