Good, solid game here. Goofy theme with the ability to be a serious challenge. At lower levels you can relax and have a good time kicking and/or blowing up vicious and suspiciously smart chickens while meandering through a shrubbery maze. At higher levels this is a serious game with lots of twitchy stress for you FPS junkies. I liked that I didn't feel obligated to keep playing and could end at any time without feeling like I gave up.
This game takes a very straight forward idea and makes a very tight experience from that concept. You as the player can actually be fairly clever in your approach to the problem at hand. I know for a fact that I started naming all the little tricks i found. For example if i jump around a corner turn back and shoot at the pursuing chickens I call it the "180 degree FU chickens i hate you get away stop chasing me" Its not an eloquent name but it is a name. The game is straight forward but not simple, fun and doesn't try to over reach on its premise. The humor is to my taste and the game play is exactly what i would want to waste 10-30 minutes on when I'm in the mood. It feels like a game that you want to get really stupidly good at so you can make friends play it, watch them struggle, then push them aside and absolutely show off how good you are. I also think its a good game if you like the concept of speed running. Easy game to enjoy and love Very much recommend I will be gifting it to friends.
I thought this was a fun basis for a first person shooter style game. The maze gives a good challenge and is good to replay with the difficulty challenges. Animation is fun and retro. Lots to like about this chicken shooter!
It's a pretty fun and quite difficult game, I can certainly see it expanding with more support and it's great to just mindlessly play for a gamer fix. Though it has quite simple gameplay, don't let this game fool you; it's very difficult and you'd come back to it just for the challenge alone.
Fun game, easy to play, who doesn't love shooting chickens while running a maze?
Wow, I love this game! Just finding my way in the huge hedge maze'll keep me busy for quite a while, never mind fighting all the chickens. The beachball gun feels great to fire, and blowing up chickens is hella satisfying. I like that the protagonist is a woman: it adds a layer of extra badassery, and her breathing and reactions make it an immersive experience. It progresses well as you work through the maze, and every run is a new ballgame with chickens falling randomly out of the sky. Every time I lose, I want to get back in right away and settle the score. The only thing I like about losing is the chicken trading card you get at the end. I like the music, too. I turn the music off in a lot of games, but not this one. It's part of the ambiance. Has a Fallout 4 kind of vibe. I know lots of people don't read game manuals, but this one is good. There's even a secret code tips section in the back. Even the training level is addictive. I have never been so intent on destroying cute robot chickens in my life. I won't spoil it, but be careful when shooting at the cows!
I love this game, it's completely intuitive at the start so is really easy to get killing those nasty chickens. Chickens until now seemed to be a harmless creature, but in this game the chickens are mean and vicious, they can sneak up behind you and kill you in seconds, they are a truly formidable enemy. There are upgrades to discover along the way to add depth to the game. It looks great and is bug free. it's great fun with no tricky learning curve at the start. Definitely worth the low price. Recommended!
So fun! Just challenging enough to play as a beginner and I can't wait to get into the harder game modes - not shockingly pelting robot chickens with beach balls is as fun as it sounds. Definitely recommend this, the puzzle of the maze combined with the combat elements of limited ammo, health and stamina are very engaging and add so much!! I think really anyone could play this it's such a universally fun concept and 100% worth buying.
This game is very interesting, takes a few goes to get used to it but can be very fun chasing the chickens or they chase you. 8 out of 10.
I've been watching a friend play this, and I had to get it for myself. It's a hoot! The chickens have it coming, if you ask me. This is a great game to unplug with and just play.
