This is one of my favourite MMOs ever. I have about 15 hours here at the time of writing, but I have played hundreds of hours outside Steam. In some regards it might be a tad clunky and a little outdated, but it's such a cozy game, with great pacing and a huge world to explore. The music is also really nice. I'm not a PvP player, so I tend to play from the starting zone up to the PvP area and then drop it there and play again with a new character (or focus on exploring the PvE area), and it's always so fun. I'd advice you to be patient with it if you decide to try it. Some parts are a product of its time, and others might have broken a bit since the game came out. But I encourage you to try it nontheless!
Developed and published by Nimble Giant Entertainment, Champions of Regnum is a long-running fantasy MMORPG that differentiates itself from many of its competitors through an unwavering focus on large-scale Realm versus Realm warfare. While countless online role-playing games place their emphasis on story campaigns, dungeon progression, and endgame raids, Champions of Regnum builds its identity around persistent faction conflict. Since its original release, the game has cultivated a dedicated community by offering a style of open-world PvP that has become increasingly rare within the MMORPG genre. The game places players into a world divided among three rival kingdoms: Alsius, Syrtis, and Ignis. Choosing a realm is one of the most important decisions a player makes because it determines allies, enemies, and the broader conflict they will participate in throughout their journey. Rather than treating factions as a background feature, the game places them at the center of the experience. Every battle, territorial dispute, and strategic objective contributes to a larger war between these competing nations, giving players a sense that their actions have genuine significance. Character creation follows traditional MMORPG conventions, allowing players to select from several classes and specializations. As characters progress, they unlock new abilities and customize their skill sets to fit specific roles. Whether acting as a heavily armored frontline fighter, a ranged attacker, a magical damage dealer, or a support-focused healer, every class serves a purpose during large-scale conflicts. The class system encourages teamwork, and successful groups often depend on a balanced composition of different combat roles. The most compelling aspect of Champions of Regnum is undoubtedly its Realm versus Realm combat system. Once players reach the contested areas beyond their homeland, the game transforms into an ongoing struggle for territory and dominance. Castles, forts, bridges, and strategic chokepoints become battlegrounds where hundreds of players can clash over control of valuable objectives. Unlike many PvP systems that revolve around isolated arenas or scheduled matches, these battles occur within the living game world, making victories and defeats feel meaningful. Siege warfare is particularly impressive. Massive groups coordinate assaults against enemy fortifications while defenders organize resistance and counterattacks. These engagements create a scale of conflict that few MMORPGs attempt to replicate. The excitement of participating in a successful siege, defending a fortress against overwhelming odds, or helping secure a crucial strategic location generates memorable moments that continue to define the game's appeal. Success requires coordination, communication, and teamwork rather than simply individual mechanical skill. The game's open-world structure enhances this sense of immersion. Enemy players can be encountered while traveling, gathering resources, or moving toward objectives. This constant possibility of conflict creates tension and unpredictability. Players are rarely completely safe outside their homeland, and the ever-present threat of enemy activity helps reinforce the atmosphere of a world locked in perpetual war. Another strength lies in the game's emphasis on community-driven objectives. The ultimate goals extend beyond leveling and equipment acquisition. Realms compete for control of strategic assets, powerful relics, and kingdom-wide advantages that influence the balance of power. These objectives encourage cooperation among large groups of players and foster a strong sense of faction identity. Veterans often become deeply invested in the success of their chosen kingdom, transforming ordinary battles into meaningful struggles for supremacy. Despite its strengths, Champions of Regnum does show its age in certain areas. The graphics, animations, and environmental detail are noticeably dated compared to modern MMORPG releases. Character models and visual effects lack the polish expected from contemporary titles, and some interface elements feel rooted in an earlier era of online gaming. However, players who value gameplay systems over visual spectacle may find these shortcomings relatively easy to overlook. Progression can also feel slower than in many newer MMORPGs. The game often expects players to invest significant time into character development before they can fully participate in large-scale endgame conflicts. While dedicated players may appreciate this sense of long-term growth, newcomers accustomed to more streamlined experiences may find the pace demanding. Additionally, population levels can vary depending on region and server activity, making timing an important factor for experiencing the largest battles. What makes Champions of Regnum noteworthy is its commitment to a design philosophy that many modern online games have abandoned. Instead of chasing trends, it remains focused on creating meaningful faction warfare and persistent world conflict. The game understands that its greatest strength is not its quest design or visual presentation but the stories that emerge when large groups of players compete for territory, prestige, and victory. For fans of classic MMORPGs and large-scale PvP experiences, Champions of Regnum offers something increasingly difficult to find. The combination of open-world warfare, strategic objectives, castle sieges, and faction loyalty creates a unique atmosphere that remains engaging years after its original launch. Although its aging visuals and slower progression may not appeal to everyone, the depth of its Realm versus Realm combat continues to provide a rewarding experience for players who enjoy competitive online worlds.
I have played Champions of Regnum for thousands of hours. I stopped for some years and when I tried to play again : the system to log in changed and I wasn't able to log in anymore (associated e-mail not available anymore) I contact the support to modify the e-mail. The answer : Not possible to update e-mail. I sent my card ID and my face photo to check my identity. My e-mail had same name as on card ID. But it seems it is not sufficient to prove my identity. Do not spend your time and money on this game ! You will loose everything just because you don't match the criteria in a stupid support form.
best endgame in a MMORPG

Eu so nao recomendo pq o jogo esta morto no momento.
