[b]If you have any interest in visual art/glitch art/analog video mixers/visual feedback or anything in those camps then this is absolutely worth the buy[/b] When VJ software costs an arm and a leg, and analog video mixers/effects are out of most people budgets or space constraints, Cathodemer is a fantastic program to show the basics of video synthesis and manipulation in a particular environment. The controls have a bit of a learning curve but going through the included manual helps explain things; though a bit of an idea how synthesizers work helps a lot, it's easy enough to just start sliding stuff around and seeing what they do in real time and create some fun stuff or just hit randomize and work your way from there!

18 hours in and i'm still learning the many features that Cathodemer has to offer. Highly recommend for your workflow.

the app is great for generating that kind of analog glitch visuals! but PLEASE can you add a higher resolution and vertical formats, i would like to use it to creating footages for tiktoks or reels, this app have a great potential for that!!

got some really good use out of this, bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it its amazing. midi support is a huge plus as well

I love this so much. The only complaint is that it runs terribly on my Macbook but smooth on the PC. I would love an update or even a Cathodemer 2
