You only get one free play per day :(
I couldn’t figure out how to start a solo offline game. As far as I understand, you need to activate the “sun” to play solo, but nothing happens. And the fact that you can do this once every 12 hours is questionable. So you’re telling me I can play offline solo once every 12 hours? What a joke. The only thing I managed to complete was the tutorial, and it’s pretty bad in teaching the game rules. As someone who has never played this boardgame before, I had to look up the actual rules just to understand how to play. Meanwhile, the in‑game shop works without any issues. Shows exactly where the developers’ priorities are. A typical trashy mobile game. Don’t waste your time.

The Devs need to invest in a genuine random dice roll option...also the AI for opponents are clearly programmed to defeat the human player not designed to win...what I mean by that is the AI on multiple occasions will intentionally not trade with the player if they are tied for the lead but will trade with the AI that the human is tied with...even if the trade is heavily tilted in the favor of the AI...Like 2 to 1 trades. Also when it comes to placement of settlements, the AI will forgo an advantageous resource location to block the human player but wont do the same for the other AI players...playing this game single player is annoying. please fix. until then i cant recommend this game to anyone other than to play with other humans
Catan is a wonderful, engaging board game that you can play for hours on end with friends. However, this computer game is technically terrible: After one of the updates (WHICH WAS A FEW MONTHS AGO), it's impossible to find the game. Before that, there were constant problems with crashes, endless reconnections, and bots replacing disconnected players. My recommendation: Don't waste your money on this game under any circumstances. Buy a real board game and play with friends. I hope the developers of this game never earn another penny in their lives and end up working 12-hour shifts in a factory.
This game is consistently a piece of ♥♥♥♥. It has horrible sync issues— every time my group of friends play around the hour mark the game just ♥♥♥♥♥ itself sets us back several turns. Don't buy this game.
In short, it's not worth it. There are constant connection issues, and players often get disconnected right at the start of the game. The AI keeps offering the same resources over and over again and removes its offers far too quickly, giving you no time to react. The dice-roll algorithm is also very poor. Instead of producing a natural distribution, the same number tends to come up repeatedly, then suddenly another number starts repeating. What's even more suspicious is that whenever you have more than seven resource cards and a 7 is rolled, forcing you to discard cards, the number that has just been blocked by the robber very often comes up on the very next dice roll. As someone who plays this board game regularly and understands how dice probabilities should work, it's obvious that something isn't right and that the system feels manipulated. Overall, the game is more frustrating than enjoyable. Between the unreliable servers, frequent connection problems, and the questionable dice algorithm, it causes far more stress than fun.
