Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

CATACOMBS: The Beginning is an asset/template flip made with the godawful Raycasting Game Maker engine used to generate cheap ripoffs of Wolfenstein 3D. Gameplay consists of simple single plane FPS shooting sprite based enemies on small 2D levels, just like Wolf3D. Once more LTZInc is at it again, but this time with his new Steam account, Bloodrain Publishing. Why does Lina need to hide his identity and mislead gamers? Oh yeah, because he's an asset flip scammer and review manipulator. The Raycasting Game Maker engine is garbage. It has oversensitive mouse settings, so if you use the mouse to steer, you will just flip around endlessly with zero control. However, you must use the mouse to shoot, so the game is effectively unplayable. This is no different from any other game made with this engine. It's garbage. Also, like every other Raycasting Game Maker asset flip, resolution and controls are locked and can't be changed, and the graphics horrible, low resolution "pixel" trash. It's pure trash, and while the intent of the construction kit was to make small games to pass around with friends, and to teach some aspects of game making, unethical developers will dump the games on Steam as cash grabs. Like CATACOMBS: The Beginning. I used to think things like GameMaker Studio and RPG Maker were the worse game construction kits for allowing talentless "developers" to make "games". Actually, they still are, no matter how bad or unplayable this trash is. Regardless, you can play Wolf3D for free, and it's better than this.
Warning: Review Manipulation!
This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. CATACOMBS: The Beginning is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend.

Trash. Even worse than every other game from this dev as level 2 (out of 3) is broken and can't be finished.
It's a dollar but it's a dollar you're giving out to a begger. Sometimes when you fire your weapon it will just keep firing for like a minute. The game doesn't use the number keys. Enemies don't take damage until they are activated/ recognize you and start chasing after you. You can't distinguish between environment and entity as easily as you should. You can't walk underneath chandeliers all of the time which blocked off a room in the second stage which I needed to progress. Look it's your toddlers first game, but your toddler isn't allowed to package up its crappy lemon-aid and sell it at the store. If the guy wants to take money for the game then he should spend some of the money to play test it. All of these complaints occurred multiple times within half an hour.
A low poly old-school FPS. With arbitrarily low total ammo counts for no good reason. And only 1.5 levels. Why 1.5? Because level 2 is bugged and cannot be completed. Absolute crime to charge any money, let alone $5, for something that can't be finished.
Looks like one of the legendary game.
Funny graphics. The game reminded me of the games of my childhood. Convenient and simple control. Had a good time. Recommend.
Cool and dynamic shooter. The game is great to play along with the times of the first Duma and Wolfenstein. I recommend the old ones.
Благодарю за хардкорный экшн как в старые лихие 90ые думчика, разные оружия и монстры тоже добавляют похвалы)
Good game! A very colorful shooter with elements of survival!
5/10 I only recommend if you like old 3D FPS games
