Castle of Secrets

Сюжет интересный, но очень много багов в игре.

В Castle of Secrets есть приятные и искренние места в противовес сомнительным моментам (местами странная графика и анимация, некачественная озвучка, корявый слог повествования и, частично, сюжет). Хотя эти минусы можно списать на недороговизну проекта. Несмотря на это, в игре есть своя атмосфера, в которую она постепенно погружает, а странная анимация даже приобретает своеобразный шарм. Некоторые сцены с точки зрения атмосферы проработаны отлично, как и некоторые диалоги - чем-то откликаются. Отдельно хочется отметить потрясающую музыку и звуки. Наверное, это лучшая часть игры. В общем, несмотря на минусы, эта небольшая игра кажется непустой, а это уже не мало. Своё место Castle of Secrets в сердечке оставила.

Очень разочарована. Игра в демке очень понравилась, ждала, следила за датой выхода, но что есть , то есть . Баги постоянно выводили из себя , во многих случаях героиня или сюжетные персонажи просто оставалась на заднем фоне в виде силуэта и я говорю о тех , что должны вроде бы пропасть после диалога. Сюжет слабый ,хотя вначале заинтерисовал, но конец предсказуемый . Примерно на моменте с масками уже захотелось выключить игру, не смотря на вроде бы загадочный сюжет. Я понимаю, как авторы представляли себе игру, вижу все эти мини сюжетики на каждом из уровней и представляю их ,так скажем, идеальном исполнении, но они просто не заинтерисовывают и иногда просто ломаются. Игра примерно на 90% состоит из загадок и на 10% - сюжета. Я понимаю, что это нормально , но в этой игре это ощущается , как загадки и снова загадки, и опять загадки. Это как телефонное приложение у которого единственная функция давать загадки чтобы их разгадывать на досуге, но если такие приложения даже не претендуют на глубину сюжета , то эта игра наоборот пытается казаться, а не быть

Je suis assez mitigée pour cet avis mais les points négatifs pèsent vraiment lourds dans la balance, je trouve. Castle of Secrets raconte les malheurs d’une famille noble qui enchaîne les tragédies. Si au départ, le couple aimant vit des jours heureux en compagnie de leur fille Susan, très vite, tout s’effondre, en commençant par la mort du père. Puis la venue d’un mari imposé par l’entourage de la veuve et ensuite, sa fin. Après quoi, c’est au tour de Susan de subir les caprices du destin. Qui est responsable de tout cela ? Ce sera à vous de le découvrir ! Il vous faudra parcourir les enfers pour trouver des objets utiles et ainsi braver les épreuves du chat et du corbeau qui se disputent votre âme. Ce duo atypique se fera un malin plaisir à vous torturer de bien des façons : objets cachés, énigmes, plateformes, un peu de frissons horrifiques… Le jeu se joue du joueur dès le début et le plonge dans un univers de non-sens. Si cette aventure promet plusieurs fins déterminées par vos choix moraux, il vous faudra vous armer de beaucoup de patience pour en venir à bout. Car hormis des niveaux qui s’enchainent sans en voir le bout, vous serez confronté à de nombreux bugs qui risquent de vous obliger à recommencer le niveau du début. The game up to level 8 is fun. The problem with level 8 is when you get to the collecting the ladies items. That is all fine and dandy until you need to use the statues. For whatever reason, the statues seems to not work with all three statues and even worse, the locket acts like the statue but I need the locket to progress. It creates this really nasty and annoying softlock. I have played it twice, first time realizing and second time not being able to do it. I do not mind this game, it a bueatiful game if not for the softlock that can happen with level 8 and 7. 7 being if you fling the mummies suddenly, you can't progress further with the level. Maybe in the future, work on the 3D controls and the 2.5 space before pushing it out there. Or have a contingency plan when it comes to losing pieces or missing items. Even better, have a realistic check point and save mechanic. Reset from last check point to restart level. Don't play it for the annoyance that is the soft lock.

Игра очень интригует и я очень хотел бы в нее поиграть нормально, потому что, увы, оптимизации нет вообще. Куда более требовательные игры идут нормально, хотя бы на стиженных настройках графики - точно. Но в этой игре даже на самых минимально возможных настройках графики улучшается быстродействие только в меню игры, во время геймплея все остается также тормознуто, как и на максимальных настройках. Подожду пару недель патчей на оптимизацию, но если не будет - верну средства. Жаль.

Illustrations are of top quality and music is fitting to the setting, and both gives a great combination of surreal atmosphere and feelings. I have not completed the game till now but it seems i am nearing it. Till now i have used hints two times, to find the objects. Puzzles are practical and not that difficult. i like the story line and the fact that Miss Susan actions are going to decide the final outcome, for herself and for her parents. Some have issues with the voice acting of Miss Susan but i like the voice acting for Miss Susan and other characters. I think the main issue is that when Miss Susan character is first introduced, the first few lines are very energetic and dramatic. All this occurs when the player has hardly been introduced to Miss Susan character. I had to reload the game at two stages to advance the game play otherwise i have not found any other technical issue till now.
