Castle Of Secrets: Prologue is the beginning of a very dark, Gothic tale of a girl losing her mother, she blames the stepfather at first but as things progress she realises that maybe she doesn't know or remember as much about the events as she first thinks. There are some nice puzzles that aren't too mentally vexing combined with fantastically Gothic artwork and deep, rich story line that I, personally would like to see the full version of. Very enjoyable,

the story seems amazing but unless you can work around how buggy it is then honestly don't waste your time on it. i really want to know more of the story but there are many things that i keep getting lost and it's not obvious what to do or something is in the way of me doing it and resetting game just causes a different problem the next time played. i went to youtube for walkthroughs but they are all from 2022 when the game was released, i think many things have changed and the game has been updated since so i can't really follow it. things are now missing from the game that are in those videos.
Lasted 5 minutes after the tutorial - very disappointing

Okay, real talk — I jumped into Castle of Secrets: Prologue just to check it out, and bam, I’m hooked for a couple hours! It’s just a prologue, but holy crap, it grabs you right from the start and leaves you yelling, “Where’s the full game, dudes?!” The story? Absolute fire. You’ve got this girl, Susan, whose dad dies all mysterious-like, mom can’t handle it and checks out too, and now she’s alone, stuck with all these creepy secrets. The vibe is heavy, but in a good way — you’re glued to every line, every little hint. It’s dark, it’s got this fairy-tale-gone-wrong feel, and you just know it’s building up to something wild. Keeps you on edge, and I’m already hyped for what’s next. Now, the visuals — mind-blowing! The characters are 2D, like paper cutouts, but the world’s full-on 3D with shadows, textures, the works. It’s like a shadow puppet show on steroids, and it freaking works. The castle, the rooms, everything’s got this gloomy but gorgeous look that just pulls you in. Sometimes I’d stop just to stare at how cool it all looks — it’s so unique, man. Soundtrack’s on point too — not in your face, but it cranks up the mood perfectly. Gameplay’s chill but not brain-dead. There’s puzzles — nothing crazy hard, but you gotta think a bit. Connect some items here, play a little mini-game there — it’s like a warm-up in the prologue, but you can tell they’re setting up for more in the full release. Inventory, crafting, messing with the camera — it’s all there, and it feels smooth, not clunky. Bottom line: if you’re into dark stories with mysteries and visuals that slap, download this, no hesitation. Prologue’s short, but when it ends, you’re just sitting there like, “Okay, what’s next for Susan?!” I’m waiting for the full version like it’s payday before a long weekend. 9/10 — only docking a point ‘cause it’s too short. Gimme more!
Drop the full game :((
It's dope
