Castle Crashers®

Great little hack'n'slash side scroller, like Streets of Rage. Light RPG elements, you level up, choose where to put stat points, there's various weapons to collect each with different stats, and pets with abilities to collect. Worth picking up on sale, it's aged well and is still a fun game. Could be a bit longer, but it didn't feel too short. 7.5/10. Achievements - no missables, one online achievement, for 40 PvP wins. It's much easier to find a buddy and clear that together as the servers are quiet (the game is 18 years old!) A few more achievements that can be done either locally with multiple controllers, or online. 10-12 hours or so for the 100%.

making your enemies have a bajilion hp points and 3 hit kill you does not make for a challenge, it just makes for bullsh#t gameplay, where you need to constantly fling your enemies or youre done.
