I want to say I did not hate this game although it has been refunded as of now. I was playing on a Steam Deck getting a solid 42 fps which is fine for this style of game. I enjoyed first person mode over third person another positive about this game you get both options. I only played about 20 minutes mostly enjoyable during that time. However a bird started squaking near me and my fps went from 42 down to 9 fps and didn't recover. I'm only writing this so the devs can try to fix this issue. If they do I would love to come back to this 1 day. In the end I recommend the game but not for steam deck currently.
If you liked Green Hell, you’ll probably enjoy this. creepy woods, crafting, and a cool world to explore. Needs co-op, but still a fun time solo
Really enjoying this game so far. It gives off strong The Forest vibes but adds its own thing to the mix. Love that you can switch between first- and third-person depending on what you prefer. The map looks amazing too—lots of little details everywhere
Honestly this game gives off early ARK survival gameplay and its great. It's mainly goal orientated towards your base building and there's a lot of stuff to build plus there's biomes to explore. Tbh the only way you will learn how to play this game is to press all the buttons with all the items you craft. It can be a little tricky at times but spam the buttons and you'll learn what you need to do. Ps: Always carry berries.
Game looks beautiful, still in early access so there are some in progress features but the basics of the game are clean and working good. Developer is very involved in the community and has been very responsive to questions.

I do love the game, but it needs work, cant play on high resolution as it Glitches out all the time, so have to play on low, which kinda makes the game look crappy. I have a brand new top notch Gaming PC which is more than capable to run this game.
Carpathian Survival is a solid survival game that takes the best elements of games like The Forest and adds its own unique twist. The dual first- and third-person perspectives are a great feature, allowing you to pick the one that suits you best. The world is stunning, with a lot of attention to detail in the environment. I really hope they'll add a co-op version too so I can play it with my friends.
I'm really enjoying the visuals so far. I found a waterfall and am starting to build a camp. I hope it continues to grow and gets a story mode later on too like the Long Dark did. The Carpathian Mountains are beautiful so this is a great setting for a survival game. Definitely worth playing. Слава Україні!
