Carnage Cross

So I got a key a few months ago and the game is good it's a spiritual successor to twisted metal that has a classic easy to learn control scheme and a good roster of cars from a cop to an alien driving a truck and other characters that resemble some characters from the twisted metal series

Wow! For an early access title, the devs most certainly have something special here for fans of the Twisted Metal series. Character and car models look excellent. Maps are good as well but could use some lighting adjustments even in the higher graphics option. The only other con I can think of is the audio levels. I am no audio expert but it seems that it could use some balancing adjustments. The gun sounds are just way to low. I hope the devs stay on this because it is such a great start. Please don't abandon this project like the people that were behind Diesel Guns. I am rooting for you all!

1st game i really felt the need to not recommend. its not worth the $5. it took me 20 minutes to complete the campaign. it would have sooner without the bugs. the final map was bugging enemies under the map. the controls are really wonky, the enemies die within seconds 1-2 attacks. really disappointed, it looked like a promising twisted metal mock. DO NOT BUY

This game was given to me for free by the Developer. (Thank you again for that!) Carnage Cross is Genuinely a fun vehicular combat game, It does need a tiny bit of refinement cutscene wise and possibly, MAYBE a slo-mo mechanic for people who wanna get some really well timed shots in. All in all however it brings back fun memories of Vigilante 8 and Twisted Metal. I say get it if you really enjoy these types of games!

got it while on sale. Honestly, a good time waster. But to be honest, the game handles poorly... it somehow manages to control worse than Twisted Metal 3 with the Ice Physics cheat on. The Weapons are a bit confusing and difficult to understand. The HUD isn't very helpful as almost no information is shown. Killing enemies does not feel fun in this game at all. The lack of control in your vehicle makes every shot a horrific gamble as you have almost no control of your aim. To Fix this game would require a complete overhaul of the physics and controls. But it is not bad for a prototype... Cannot recommend at this time, but maybe when these issues get ironed out.

What can I say about this game. I can say it is a labor of love, the combat is quick and responsive. The cars all feel different and unique in their own way, The characters aren't what your here for so don't worry about that, its all about the car combat! The weapons are varied. If you played any of the classic car combat games you'll know exactly what your getting. It was a great nostalgic blast from the past playing it and I'm glad someone made this. It gives me hope that even more games like this will be made in the future!

Killer Cars from Outer Space! What a ride of a multiplayer and story mode experience. I would like for the cars to jump though. Also, the carnival level is awesome, but the boxy chicken really adds something special. Motorcycle is my favorite vehicle -Hope thats not a spoiler..

I would recommend this game to anyone who has been waiting for a new Twisted Metal. While not as good as the games in that series, Carnage Cross was still fun. The game is a bit buggy and crashed a few times. The game itself is fun enough.

only a few min and im alrdy in love, currently yes this game still need alot of work but im having hopes for it, i miss twisted metal and been wanted a new game in the series for a hot minute now

NOTE: I Recommend this game but please read the review first if you are willing to buy it. I Love Twisted metal, in fact i am also working on a twisted metal inspired game. I would absolutely love to play this game more but it needs some major fixes like 1. Game brightness gets so low you cant see anything, when u change the settings.. even setting it to medium or high settings didn't fix it. 2. Keymaps are bugged i am using keyboard but it sometimes shows Game pad controls on bottom left.. its not a major bug but fixing it will help someone. 3. Story mode's starting vehicle speed is too fast.. These are some stuff i encounter. I Hope this gets patched.. I Bought the game just to support the developer and to play this awesome title.
