About
Spin. Drop. Score.
Cardwheel is a fun roguelite where you drop balls into a big spin wheel. Each run begins with choosing a wheel, and each wheel changes the difficulty and how you play.
How it works:
🎡 Choose Your Wheel: Each wheel gives you a unique setup and starting resources.
🃏 Make Your Choice: Enter the next round, or skip it for powerful bonuses like cash, free card packs, or guaranteed rare jokers in the shop.
🎨 Spin for Score: Drop 6 balls into a wheel of 4 colors. Match colors to rack up chips, multiply your total, and try to clear the round’s score goal. However, be cautious, as your spins are limited.
🛒 Shop & Upgrade: Between rounds, visit the shop to buy jokers and card packs. Jokers twist the rules (e.g., more chips for red balls, multipliers for pairs), while card packs change how balls, slots, or colors behave.
👹 Boss Challenges: Every three rounds, face a unique twist. Some colors stop scoring, modifiers shut down, or jokers get disabled. Adapt fast; there are 8 bosses to beat.

Great game for a modest price! I've been playing this since the demo came out. The game is great for a quick 5 min play session of a few wheels. But also has surprising depth with booster cards and mods for balls and slots on the wheel, with various interesting combos you can stack to really get strategic and put in an longer play session. It has that nice easy-to-learn but challenging-to-master curve to get to those later rounds. I'm not usually a fan of roguelites but this doesn't even really feel like one to me. Would recommend!
Me at the start of a run: “I will carefully plan my strategy.” Me five minutes later: “RED BALL RED BALL RED BALL RED BALL”
really good game if you enjoy roguelites where the strategy evolves every run, this is an easy recommendation

Some runs end quickly if you fall on a bad boss, but the runs are fast enough that it never feels frustrating. Seems a bit too easy to get the balls to fall where I want them. Worth playing if you like roguelites.
This game scratches the same itch as other quick roguelites. Dropping balls into the wheel feels oddly satisfying and watching the chips stack up is addictive. Every run makes me think I’m a genius… until the next boss.
Soulless baltaro variant
Picked this up because the idea sounded weird and interesting. After a few runs I started to see how the jokers and multipliers interact and that’s when the game really clicked for me. It’s the kind of roguelite where a run can suddenly explode with points if the right combo shows up. I’ve had a few moments where the score just goes crazzyyy. Definitely worth trying if you enjoy experimenting with different builds.
This game is really great. The core mechanic works very well and there are lots of things you can modify during a run. Each run feels very different due to what jokers are available. Like one joker will give a bonus the more modified balls you have, but another will only give a bonus if no balls are modified. So the way you play completely changes depending on what jokers are available. The same with the slots, like one joker will give you a bonus if all the balls fall on one color, so in that run I’ll to make the wheel all one color. But then in a different run I’ll have a joker that only gives a bonus if the balls fall on multiple colors, so keeping the wheel jumbled up suddenly becomes a bonus. Then there are the bosses, which require you to completely change the “hand”. Like one boss will disable all the slots of the most used color, so I always need to check for what the next boss is going to be and plan accordingly. All in all its a fun, addictive game.
Great little strategy game. I love the mix of luck and planning. You can get some crazy multipliers if you get the right jokers. The boss rounds also shake things up in a good way. Easy to learn but hard to master.
