Beneath the simplistic art-style there's a hidden gem of a game here with deep strategic gameplay and generous rewards. When I first tried out this game, my expectations were not set high, but after hours and hours of playing it, I became very positively surprised, and as excited about it as I am of Might & Magic: Fates. You earn plenty of booster packs by completing the single-player campaign, doing daily and weekly quests and progressing through ranks in PvP. Additionally you earn wildcards that can be used to craft the cards you want. The only major gripe I have is that PvP matchmaking can sometimes pit you against an opponent way above your rank. Perhaps a possible solution could be an optional setting that, when enabled, would only match you with players close to your current rank, at the expense of potentially having to wait longer in matchmaking. Also, I'd appreciate it if countdown timers would be added to inform when daily and weekly quest resets happen, and when a season ends. If rewards are given according to PvP rank when a season ends, an information screen about those would also be nice.
IM 1 MATCH AWAY FROM UNINSTALLING RIGHT NOW WITH HOW ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ UNBALANCED THIS ♥♥♥♥ GETS WITH EVERY UPDATE, FUNNY ENOUGH I MADE PVZ HEROES BALANCED WITH A EDITOR AND I NEVER UPLAODED MY MOD AS MY PROGRESS WAS LOST WHEN PVZ HEROES WAS UPDATED CARD GAME DEVS ALWAYS SUCK UNLESS ITS MTG OR A REAL LIFE CARD GAME

If you've played the previous games when younger, this is a blast to the past with new and enjoyable mechanics. There's a Campaign mode to help new players get used to cards and all the effects available. You also unlock premade decks, cards and get EXP (which progresses the battlepass and gives you more cards!), definitely start with the Campaign before going into multiplayer. The story is very simple but entertaining nonetheless, I enjoyed Ragnar the most personally. Each mission has pre-assigned units to your side so you can try to exploit them with the premade decks while you learn all the cards. The multiplayer itself seems fine. There are 2 queues right now, Casual and Ranked. Having played only Casual I can't speak for the Ranked experience, but from the matches I've had it was very fun and matched me with other new players it seems. I won quite a few matches by just adjusting a premade deck with some of the cards I got from the campaign mode (A WHOLE 30+ PACKS). There's 2 codes you can use right now for some free packs, so check discord for that (search code and you should find it). 10/10 Very fun Free2Play experience, will be playing daily.
Solid. F2P friendly. better than the previous versions of the game. The campaign unlocks tons of content for new players. The game is just a solid TBS CCG
Its fun
Very good game. Pretty much as good as it gets for unit on board strategy card game. Progression is smooth without paying a dime. Variety of tactics. Sometime meta things can be a little strong, but overall well balanced. Their's definitly a learning curve and you might get wrecked a little bit at first, but you'll be able to make decent deck pretty fast. Discord community is also helpful. Says I have 6 hours in here, but I'm making this comment with hundreds of hours on mobile
This game is an absolute blast - deep and intricate strategy beneath a beautiful derpy aesthetic. Some of the cards/combos are laugh-out-loud broken under the right condiions, but nothing feels exceptionally overtuned or unaddressed. What makes this review a strongly recommend over just a simple thumbs up is the generosity of the in-game rewards system which is absolutely F2P and F2W - feels as if you're earning a collection at a fast pace but still exciting to open packs etc. Speaking of which you get an insane amount of legendaries and packs from the campaign, and if you played Cards&Castles 2 you can seamlessly transfer over your rewards (I got 74 packs from that!)
good game, its extremely f2p with a generous card progression system and a tight knit community
Eu amo esse jogo mais doq eu amo a minha mãe, mais doq eu amo minha namorada e mais que eu amo a minha própria vida.
Fun card game. You must be very strategic when you place and move your units and the timing of your spells, patience is rewarded. Building decks is easy and very entertaining.
