Cardful Planning

So I picked this up after reading a review on "Buried Treasure" - it is an excellent little game where you manouevre a playing card around a maze. Very simple but a couple of ingenious little design implementations make what would seem quite a mundane puzzle into quite tricky head scratchers. Defintely worth the 5 squid they asking for

♠♥◆♣ 트럼프 카드 미니 어드벤처 ♠♥◆♣ 양면으로 뒤집고 엎는 트럼프 카드를 조종해 진행하는 캐주얼한 액션 어드벤처 게임. 심플하고 미니멀한 레트로풍 그래픽과 사운드는 무난하고, 카드를 움직여 출구를 찾는 게임플레이는 액션이라기보단 퍼즐에 좀 더 가까워보인다. 네 가지 문양과 A부터 K까지 모든 카드가 등장하지만, 유감스럽게도 조커 카드는 안 나온다. 스페이드와 하트, 다이아, 클로버의 네 구역을 전부 마친 뒤, 중심부의 '나쁜 손'을 물리쳐야 한다. 각 구역에 진입하면 대쉬와 뒤집기 등의 스킬을 배우게 되고, 스킬과 컨트롤을 통해 각 스테이지의 출구에 도달해야 한다. 한 번 움직일 때마다 카드의 면이 바뀌니 이 점을 주의할 필요가 있다. 그래도 각 스테이지의 크기가 워낙 작고 구성이 어렵지 않아 스테이지를 돌파하는데 그리 오랜 시간이 소요되진 않는다. 게다가 게임 도중 사망하더라도 해당 스테이지를 처음부터 시작하는 것이 아니라 진척도가 어느 정도 유지돼있기 때문에 더욱 편하게 게임을 풀어나갈 수 있다. 별 건 아니지만, 하트 던전의 경우 단순히 출구로 나아가기만 해서는 관련 도전과제가 획득이 안 된다. 도전과제를 획득하려면 재빠르게 스테이지를 한 바퀴 돌아 먼저 스위치를 눌러야만 한다. 이것만 감안하면 게임 자체의 난이도는 지극히 평이한 수준. 워낙 짧은 게임이니 여유가 된다면 스피드런 모드나 퓨어데스 모드에 도전해보는 것도 재밌을 듯하다. 컨텐츠에 비해 가격이 조금 비싼 감이 있긴 해도 그럭저럭 재밌게 즐길 수 있는 게임이다. 할인을 노리면 충분히 즐길 만한 가치는 있는 게임. https://blog.naver.com/kitpage/222364344071

Cardful Planning ist ein interessant gemachtes, kleines Rätselspiel. Der erste Eindruck ist dabei ziemlich erschreckend, erwartet einen doch eine unglaublich altbackene DOS-Pixelgrafik. Ja, die Grafik ist zweckmässig, aber das ändert nichts daran, dass eine solche Grafik heutzutage eigentlich eine Beleidigung für die Augen ist. Wer sich aber durchringt, bekommt ein ziemlich clever designtes Puzzlespiel. Dabei spielt man eine Spielkarte, die von ihrer Liebe getrennt wurde und sich nun durch verschiedene Levels schlagen muss, um sie schliesslich in einem Bosskampf wieder zurückzugewinnen. Klingt absurd? Ist es auch. Aber die Story ist kaum zu spüren und so stehen ganz die Puzzles im Fokus. Und diese sind tatsächlich gut und vor allem abwechslungsreich gestaltet. Manchmal braucht es v.a. Geschiwindigkeit oder Timing, manchmal braucht es kluge Planung resp. Rätsellösung, manchmal beides. Und mit jeder der 4 Welten kommt eine neue Mechanik dazu, was der Abwechslung sehr zuträglich ist. Auch der Schwierigkeitsgrad steigt stetig an, wobei es durchaus einige Knacknüsse gibt resp. Levels, die mehrere Anläufe benötigen. Allerdings ist mir kein Level begegnet, das wirklich nervig schwierig war und wo man lange festhängt. D.h. aber auch, wer die grosse spielerische oder rätseltechnische Herausforderung sucht, der ist hier falsch. Wer aber ein kleines Puzzlespiel für Zwischendurch sucht, der findet hier für rund 1 Stunde gute und abwechslungsreiche Unterhaltung. Fazit: Die miserable Grafik wird wettgemacht durch interessantes und gut gestaltetes Gameplay. Überraschend spassiges kleines Puzzlespiel. PS: Die Rezension bewertet nur das Spiel im Allgemeinen und nicht das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Zum Zeitpunkt der Abfassung, war der Preis aber deutlich zu hoch für das Gebotene. In meinen Augen wären 1-2€ ein fairer Gegenwert für das Spiel.

現在、実績50%のところ。 このゲームはクリアまでチュートリアルというゲームだね。 なのでボリュームは値段相応。 ひさびさに実績コンプ出来そうなゲーム。

A fun puzzle game with a dash of metroidvania. It might not be the longest game ever made but it sure is fun. A speed run and least deaths mode also add to the replay value if you want to challenge yourself or others buy topping the leaderboards.

Okay action + puzzle game that devolved into a matter of trial and error pretty quickly. Only a couple levels stick to my memory. Even with some cool mechanics, puzzle design seems hampered by the need for avoiding constant threats. I think the levels could have been a lot better if the game was turn-based instead of real-time. Thankfully this is not very hard to complete due to generous respawns. Overall, recommended only if you really can't find anything else to scratch that itch for puzzles or dungeon crawling. Definitely not worth the full price. Steam really should incorporate a "meh" rating.

Quick Score: 3/5 Notes: Decent idea, but the level design is very lacking most of the time. The final boss seemed to be broken, not sure if its because i was playing on a high refresh rate. Can be 100% in about 45 minutes and doesn't really offer much replayability. There are speedrun and "low death" modes, but no achievements or rewards associated with them outside of leaderboard competition. IMO definitely overpriced at 7.99$. Would never recommend at full price. Overall though It was a generally fun little experience, but not great.

Przyjemna rozgrywka logiczno-zręcznościowa

I only played it for 30 minutes but I enjoyed every minute of it. Its smart and well-thought. Very original. This game has a huge potential. The idea of playing cards is unique.
