Sweet Survival: Candyland is a broken mess of a game that uses AI generated everything. The voice-overs have that stiff robotic sound, and the "artwork" is riddled with errors like 7 fingers on a hand and ears that aren't filled in correctly. The game itself is a basic puzzle game where the enemies either give up after 5 seconds of chasing you or will get stuck on random parts of the environment(door frames stop them every time). I made it about 15 minutes in before the glitches and overall vibe of the game really put me off. Also the game uses music that is flagged for copyright on YouTube and Twitch. Basically this whole project is a mess and I'll be avoiding future "games" by them.
If You Would Like To Watch My Game play and overall Thoughts, You Can Right Here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqiFs0kzgCs The world of indie games, is a delicate place. They take risks, more risks then most people I would believe, they don't have millions to pull from, nor do they often have a huge team to help create their project. Making games is hard. Candyland: Sweet Survival, is NOT a survival horror game, its more of a Children's puzzle game, with attempted "horror" shooter segments. Let me start off with, I love the idea, a haunted/rundown candy factory is a fantastic setting for a horror game, much in the veins of "My Friendly Neighborhood" & "Poppy Playtime". Most of the puzzles, are solid brain teasers, especially the ones that involve you moving the enemies to stand in the right place! But... thats about it. Maybe the game just wasn't for me, but from my experience, it just fell flat. The maps are full of colour, but feel depraved of life, large empty rooms, that could be filled with world building lore, are instead just empty hallways or housing rooms for giant puzzles. The story is very basic, your grandpa made mistakes, and for some reason its up to you to fix things, we only get 1 interaction with the hero & the Villain, where they talk about their ideologies, and it just falls flat. The ending "boss fight" if you can call it that. Is just you solving more puzzles, and is very anticlimactic. If your game is a puzzle game, call it a puzzle game, There are no survival Horror Elements to this game, there are barely any horror elements. Since there is only one enemy type, you get used to them very quick, and since everything is well lit, there truly isn't much to frighten you. Some things that would propel this game into a higher rating would be things that make other games successful. LORE! Hidden within the map, on notes, a more flushed out story, and more interactions with the antagonist. More enemies variety Variety In Weapons I am sure you spent many many hours on this project. But the game just doesn't feel fully flushed out, and just left me feeling disappointed and bored. I also completed the game in 1 hr and 20 min... for 17$ (Canadian) I have payed less, for better.
Game was poorly put together A.I. mess with A.I. art and voice acting and I think even the writing I cannot believe it is being posted on here for 13 bucks.
The concept for this game sounded really fun, and I looked forward to trying it. Unfortunately it's full of AI-generated assets, art, and voice acting. The game itself is confusing and not very intuitive, and I gave up after less than 10 minutes. Would not recommend this game at all.

Follow Main group
 Follow Second group
 Follow Third group
and discover more reviews from me.
Love the concept here, but unfortunately it didn't hit a home run for me. The game was a little glitchy and I found myself having to out glitch the glitches. My viewers weren't really engaged on my channel, weren't fond of the puzzles but did find the creatures unique. The voice acting was very well done, however, it seemed the main character was in his teens and his voice was that of an older man. The graphics were decent but I really wanted so much more out of this. With fine tuning and perhaps more depth to the game, it could flourish. For now, as it stands, for 12.99, I can't recommend this one.
Not even a game. Do not buy!!
It's ok and kind of fun. But it's too expensive for the content and performance. The trailer doesn't show the gameplay, it's a video. It's a bit sad if you want to play with this graphics and think, it would be like the trailer with the little boy. If you're into indie horror it's worth a try, but buy it with discount =)
Un pur étron mal moulé... A éviter.
