Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2 (2009)

(HEAVY SPOILERS FOR A GAME FROM 2009) The intro to the campaign was incredibly hype once you hear "what the hell kind of name is Soap" and you see the rest of the throwbacks to goat of duty 4 you know youre in for quite the ride. Incredible music. Incredible voice actors for iconic characters. Great followup to the events of cod 4 a little less immersive but great set pieces throughout and this was back when cod had balls. No Russian is still talked about to this day and was a great way to introduce Makarov. How ruthless he is and can be to get what he wants. Shepard was a great villain as well and the devs weren't afraid to kill off icons like ghost and roach for redeeming himself from the nuke situation in cod 4. From the start we are thrown right into over the top set pieces like the snowmobile run and other chaotic missions that are just as iconic as cod 4 but in a little less immersive way. Still despite that I would give the campaign a solid 9.5 out of 10 and the ending is legendary. Multiplayer for this game was peak back when it released some of the most fun you could have in gaming. A little unbalanced today but back when nobody was abusing all the cheesy perks and noob tubes it was 10/10 levels of fun and full of great maps. Spec ops was good fun as well 8/10. Overall this game is considered 1 of the goats for a reason and will go down as an iconic classic with a great story great multiplayer and fun side mode

Hey kiddo, Handsome Jack here... and I just played Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and let me tell you, this game has everything. Explosions, helicopters, Russians, betrayal, and enough military jargon to make you feel like you accidentally enlisted. One minute you're casually shooting bad guys, and the next you're watching everything you care about explode because apparently nobody in this universe has heard of a backup plan. And the characters? Fantastic. Soap, Ghost, Price. These guys are basically the world's most emotionally damaged action figures, and I love every single one of them. Then there's General Shepherd, who I definitely didn't trust for a second because anyone that smug is obviously hiding something. The campaign is ridiculous, the multiplayer is absolute chaos, and somehow throwing a knife across a map and killing a guy feels more satisfying than it has any right to. 10/10, kiddo. Beautiful game. Terrible leadership. Honestly, I should've been in charge.

Best storyline and cinaematics things

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 tiene una campaña súper exagerada, pero muy entretenida, llena de momentos icónicos y personajes que quedaron marcados, como Ghost o Price. Las Operaciones Especiales también eran un vicio, sobre todo con amigos: misiones cortas, caóticas y algunas ridículamente difíciles, pero sumamente divertidas. Uno de los mejores Call of Duty que he jugado.

Love this franchise of games. Most engaging FPS I have ever had the absolute joy of playing. Been a gamer since the 70's and this is the epitome of what we wanted back then.

El juego sin duda alguna me encanto, tanto el online como la campaña, es una pena la verdad de que el online ya casi no tenga tantos jugadores como antes, aun asi muy recomendable, realmente tiene una historia interesante y que te engancha
