I would fully recommend it :), if it weren't FULL OF BUGS THAT MAKE THE MEDIUM CAMPAIGN UNPLAYABLE, YOU CAN'T PLAY WITH WINDOWS PLAYERS EITHER.
i played this in a hotel great fun
Does not work on modern macs as this game is 32 bit only.

I actually do recommend this game. I really do. The story is great, characters are great, and it is fun! But apple no longer supports apps that aren't 64bit. DO NOT BUY. You won't be able to play. There are some people who use bootstrapper or time machine or have a separate disk on their mac to play this, but it causes performance issues. 64 bit. 32 bit. 16 bit. 8 bit, 4 BIT, 2 BIT, *1 BIT*, *HALF BIT*, *QUARTER BIT*.... *THE WRIST GAAAAAAME!!!!!!!*
Need to pay extra for this, get no updates, gets removed from steam store. Dont even get the win version instead. Wow..
fck this game since mac catalina came out i cant play this game
The Mac Port is actually very good, the Game has no lack, loads pretty fast, and overall plays very nice, and fluent, the Graphics are at some places inconsistent, the M1911 Model is kinda muddy and ugly. Other Textures tend to be the same, but Gameplay wise, on Maximum Graphics, it run perfectly on 60FPS. I use a 10.13 High Sierra Intel Mac with AMD Radeon Graphics Card, and 8GB RAM. The Online Mode is dead, so i cant say much to it, and the Zombies Mode runs well too, and is fun, as always, i can recommend it to people who wanna give it a try on Mac, but if you should own the Windows Version, you wont find any changes, they are the same. 7/10 from me, better Textures, and a still working Online Mode would be nice.
In 15 years of Mac ownership I have never seen such a buggy piece of software. It randomly crashes constantly. I have to keep restarting levels because it crashes at certain checkpoints, even when reloading. I have to restart the level, then hopefully survive until the following checkpoint, then if I do save quickly. Utter garbage coding.
storyline is confusing, cut scenes take forever and can't be skipped (have to watch them every single time you play), controls are also clumsy. whole game feels like you're being dropped into situations with zero explanation, and you end up dying before you can even figure out what you're supposed to be doing.
I ran this game on El Capitan and High Sierra and it worked without issues (while Steam supported both of these Mac OS X versions (which they do not anymore)). That being said, the Windows version is hands down better and fully playable. Although this version did help me to get the in the money achievement for the Windows version of the game in 2021, so I was pretty happy about that. Also you can no longer buy this version on Steam, only the Windows version, so this game is 100% unplayable and Aspyr will likely never port this game to have 64 bit app support. After 98 hours of gameplay and an additional $40 worth of DLC that had to be purchased from a key re-seller, I have 100%ed an extremely rare game, due to the fact that Apple does not support 32 bit Mac Applications after Mac OS X Mojave and Steam does not support running their client on Mojave anymore.
